Bursa Hotels and Accommodation
Located south of Istanbul, Bursa is famous for its parks and gardens and is often referred to as “green Bursa”. The mosques twenty impressive columns were supposedly built by the sultan to commemorate winning the Battle of Nicopolis.
One of the city’s historical gems is the Muradiye Cemetery, where several Ottoman sultans and princes were buried. The beautiful cemetery is line with 1,000 year old trees and lies next to the Muradiye Mosque. Bursa has several hot springs which offer the famous Turkish bath. This is an essential Turkish experience and you will leave feeling squeaky clean and refreshed. It is a perfect way to top of a day of sightseeing.
