My husband and I stayed 3 nights at the imperial hotel. The reception staff, and the porter were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in an excellent location close to city centre with an abundance of shops, restaurants, theatres,etc.The room was very old and dated. I felt the price we paid was too high for such a dated jaded looking room. I asked the receptionist on departure was there were any new rooms and she said yes but could be noisy as the function rooms were underneath. She advised me to request one for next stay.
