Pros: I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights whilst i explored goreme - it was so great when i returned to goreme, after having travelled east, i stayed at this hotel once again. i was welcomed back as a friend and, once again, nothing was too much trouble & they did everything they could to ease my time there. thoroughly recommend. clean, convenient, helpful, friendly, good food, good wine, great views - what more can i say!

Pros: I cannot reccomend this hotel enough. despite arriving in the early hours (by bus) the hotel collected us, made a room immediately available and also prepared breakfast (totally unexpected and verykind of them). they made phone calls on our behalf and even drove us to where we had hired a car from (which was nowhere close!). lovely people, scrupulously clean, relaxed, friendly. breakfast was the freshest, tastiest food i ate in the whole of my journey around turkey! the terraces overlook goreme giving beautiful views. i seriously cannot reccomend this hotel enough. we were a family of 4 and it cuold not have been better for us.
The Sunset Cave Hotel is a beautiful place to stay in Turkey. This fine Göreme hotel is located in the region Cappadocia. It is a stunning area of volcanic deposits and soft rocks. Due to the nature of the terrain, entire villages were built into the rock. Many travel to this area of Turkey to view the spectacular structures, many of which are quite old. A popular attraction is the Göreme Open Air Museum which showcases more than 30 rock-carved churches and chapels. Most date back to between the 9th and 11th century and have beautiful frescoes painted on their walls. You may also visit underground cities, which were built by ancient Christains before their religion was accepted. It is both a fascinating and beautiful area. The hotel itself is charming and comfortable. It is built to match its surrounding with stone and the rooms are caves. It features a rooftop terrace, where guests will love spending much of their time. Here you can enjoy panoramic views and mild evenings in comfort. There are many other small and cozy sitting areas and places to rest in the hotel. The hotel also has a communal kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. Other amenities include a luggage storage room, provided linens and wireless Internet access.
