The construction and the interior design of the Cathedral of St. Volodymyr in Kiev took more than thirty years to complete. The church has seven domes and three isles in it making it feel grand and spacious. The Cathedral of St. Volodymyr was designed to resemble the Russian pseudo-Byzantine style of architecture.

The interior of the Cathedral of St. Volodymar took eleven years to complete and was done by a team of outstanding artists. The artist who contributed the majority of the paintings was Victor Vasnetsov (1848-1926) whose work is closely associated with Kyiv. Numerous bronze ornaments, white marble walls and a marble floor complete the look.
