The exterior and the lobby were beautiful, clean and had friendly staff. I got to my floor and immediately noticed the carpet looking like it needed attention, bulging in area throughout the hallway like it needed to be tightened. I got into my room and noticed a slight smell that surprised me. A bit stingy and made me want to truly look throughout the rest of the room for cleanliness. It appeared clean however I will have to advise them to review the details of their rooms if others looked anything like mine. I'm not saying it was at all disgusting, however, they should really think about either replacing the carpet or getting a better cleaning solution and a wet-vac to get the few stains that were noticeable. If I plan to stay again, I won't be getting the twin beds. That was my fault but I did feel like I was bunking rather than relaxing in bed. I do wish that I had a bed sheet along with the comforter as I got pretty warm during the night though I had turned my air all the way down. The shower didn't have any tissues and only left us with 1 and a half rolls of toliet paper. I only stayed for two days and had to call for another roll after the room had been serviced once. They shower attachment that holds the shower wand was loose and needs a bit of love from the maintenance man. I will say, the breakfast was excellent as was the room service! Loved the Club sandwich! I wanted to go hear the jazz playing in the Blues bar downstairs but when I walked in....SWOOSH....I was hit with cigarette and cigar smoke! I had to just had to walk out. But the music sounds so good.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. We are an australian family of 6 and had 2 triple rooms. Good size and convenient location. Breakfast was great and would definately stay here again next time in Dubai.
