One of the great traditions of Arabian culture is the souk, or market place. When you are looking for a cheap hotel in Dubai, near the Souk Madinat Jumeirah is a good area to consider if shopping is going to be high on your list of things to do in Dubai. The souk is designed to have an old-world market feel of an Arabian city, with paved walkways lined with different shops and booths.
