Aberdeenshire as a county has so much to offer to its visitors. This is a really beautiful part of the country and one that feels so different to other places. There is definitely a very special atmosphere. Balmoral Castle is here and if the area is good enough for the Royal Family, then it is good enough for most. Drum Castle is another firm favourite in the British psyche and the River Dee is a wondrous sight and if you are there at the right time of year, you can watch the salmon jumping upstream. Or you can take a trip to one of the lovely quaint little towns, such as Stonehaven, with its lovely beach or go up to Peterhead.
