Angus is a council area of Scotland. The northwest part of the region is quite mountainous and Angus attractions located here include the very popular Angus Glens, of which there are five. Other castles to visit on a weekend in Angus are the Edzell Castle, which is supposedly haunted, and Glamis Castle, the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.
