In Oban, one can visit the most popular attractions in Scotland, The Oban Chocolate Factory. This is where one can shop and watch the mouth watering chocolates being made, by hands! This chocolate company was opened in December 2003 by Stewart and Helen Miller. These founders are two young Scots who grew up in Oban. They got the idea when they were traveling in Australia. They now boast with five employees and also a wide range of chocolates, with a constant addition of new flavors.

One can get to watch the production of the chocolates through a glass window. It usually takes place in the late mornings. Products of the factory can be bought there in their shop, there is also a café where one can sit and taste some of their organic coffee, cakes, or even dip on some chocolate fondue. This is a perfect place for a traveling family to have kids enjoy such a great experience.
