The Down County Museum is in the old Down County Gaol. The building dates from the 18th century and operated from 1786 until 1830. The Gaol once held prisoners for minor offences and rebels. It was also home to many convicts and individuals prior to their transportation to New South Wales. Visitors can find out information about the former inmates as well as discover the history and conditions of the Gaol.
The Barrontop Farm in Dunamana(gh) provides you and your family with an exciting and fun-filled day of adventure. You can wander around the farm looking at the various different animals.
