Stayed here with my best friend in a double room, was an amazing hotel, brillant location, clean, and the staff were very friendly. Am looking to come back to Bournemouth with my 4 year old son and stay in this hotel again.

Pros: At £28 (room only) this is comparatively good value (you could pay a lot more for a shabby guest house or b&b in this seaside 'resort').they've obviously tried to move with the times and it compares favourably to a travelodge or something of that ilk.
Cons: After an exhausting days' travelling it was extremely disappointing to find that we were unable to have a much needed shower. i was told by the rather surly front desk staff to let it run for fifteen minutes and it would get hotter. it didn't. it still didn't work in the morning and the 'maintenance guy' wasn't around to fix it. we ended up using the shower in the 'utility room' on the first floor. to add insult to injury we were told it would cost £3 to use the internet and £2 each to leave our bags for a couple of hours! after all the shower hassle i think they could have been a bit more understanding. we won't be back.
