The East Riding of Yorkshire is a delightful place to visit, whether for a short break or for a full week or two. One thing is guaranteed is that you will be assured of a really warm Yorkshire welcome. There is a lot to see, such as the new Treasure House, which is a combined art gallery and museum. Howden Minster is a Grade 1 Church and there is also a Norman Castle (formerly destroyed) to be see, or rather what is left of it can be seen at Skipsea castle. You can also go to the Yorkshire Wolds, which is a real wildlife area. Or see the Rudston monolith, which is the tallest standing stone in the whole of the UK.
