 "Lovely hotel, great location"
We stayed at the Umi Hotel Brighton on 12th May 2013. It was an easy to find hotel, right on the seafront overlooking the sea. The nearest car park recommended by the hotel webiste was on Russell Road, about a 5 min walk from the hotel itself. The car park was an NCP, however when we got to the hotel we were given a voucher to give us 50% off the car parking fees which was great! Upon arrival we were upgraded to a seaview room, with a king sized bed. The room was very clean, nicely furnished and the bed was comfy! The receptionist informed us that the hotel was in the middle of being refurbished from the top down. The bar was quite small and not very well stocked but ok for just one drink. Breakfast next day was great, it was in the very ornately decorated restaurant next door and was a cooked buffet open until 11am. Overall I recommend this hotel as the location was very good, close to shops and the Lanes.

 "Brighton"
Great location in centre of Brighton , close to Brighton Pier and beach , shops , pubs and restaurants. Very clean and nice hotel with friendly helpful staff and very reasonable in price.The only adverse comment i have i that i will remember the small lift being stuck for at least 25 minutes with me inside with 5 others and it being hot and uncomfortable. Having said that the staff were good in that they kept talking to us and enquired whether we were ok. etc.

 "Great stay in Central Brighton"
We had a great stay here for a saturday night. It was central to everything.The twin room was spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was included in our deal and was great. I would stay here again

 "REASINABLE. * I ordered a DOUBLE bed but it was 2 BEDS pushed together with a double mattress on top !!!"
* I ordered a DOUBLE bed but it was 2 BEDS pushed together with a double mattress on top !!!Cracked BATH badly repaired by a lumpy line of silicone !!!Excellent location, right on Brighton Seafront.Had shower and BATH which was good as I prefer Baths.

 "poor value for money"
Paid £200 for a triple room. beds were very close together. lighting was very dim. bedroom furniture did not match. the bath was tiny,The water from the shower was weak. sea view (Cough.....) side sea view is a better description, and that is if you can see out as the window was very dirty.I complained to the Manager, I got the impression that because i booked through a web site, not a lot he could do. grrrrr a bottle of wine and late check out as an apology.A VERY POOR STANDARD OF ROOM FOR THE MONEY
