 "Disappointing Hotel Room"
I was staying in room 241 which I didnt know until I arrived that it was actually a room built for wheelchair access. There was no bath, except a shower room with seat and emergency cord which was for wheelchair access and as neither me or my partner had a wheelchair I wasnt impressed with the room. The shower in the morning was also very cold and it took a long time for the water to heat up. Although the hotel is situated in the centre of the city centre and within walking distance of shops etc, it would have been nice to have had the option of a shower or bath at the end of the day rather than a shower room, which I always feel is a bit off-putting unless specifically requested.I think wheelchair access rooms should be for exclusive use to people requiring additional space and only used if specifically requested by the customer. I do not think this room should be let out to people who have booked a room in good faith.

 "spring break"
Top location and communal areas very nice but rooms tired and in need of upgrading. Bar prices very expensive . Unless rooms were upgraded, not sure we would stay here again.

 "Staff & location - faultless, arrived 2"
Pros: Staff & location - faultless, arrived 2.5hrs early, but still able to take the room.
Cons: My only negative, was that while very clean, the interior & exterior looked 'tired' no doubt this will not be a factor for the commonwealth games

"Very good service and friendly staff"
Pros: Very good service and friendly staff. continental breakfast was good. very convenient for glasgow queen st railway station.
Cons: Room 404 - my bed (not the mattress, but the bed itself) was not at all in good condition with wobbly legs which meant i didn't really get a good night's sleep.
