The Hayes Library makes for a quiet stop in the normally rollicking town of Hayes, where cycle racing and other such active sports are all the rage currently. Visitors to the Hayes Library will be able to browse a massive collection of books that should impress, even if they’re not on the same scales as the libraries of say, Cambridge University.

If you’re in the area for a while, consider taking part in one of the Library’s many events. These include a weekly story time for young children wherein the librarian will read to them from popular selections and attempt to instill the all-important love of reading that will be so important throughout their lives. There’s also a book appreciation club for adults that selects, reads, and then discusses monthly selections and is quite active. Members of the library can also gain access to Ancestral Heritage services for tracing family trees at a severely discounted rate or even for free.
