Stayed during the Olympics when the city was buzzing with people. This place to stay was a great location just a short walk to the underground and the street had a lot of places to eat and grab a coffee on the way - there were a lot of options and I appreciate that, and the area was fine, I always felt safe walking at night with my boyfriend. The only issue I had with the room was the pillow was really uncomfortable. Other than that I think for the money I paid it was fine - it is small yes but I was expecting that from a European hotel. The staff was a little less impressive, the woman at the front desk was pretty unintelligent and not knowledgable about the area. Our first night we asked her if she had a recommendation of where to eat and she couldn't give us one place, she said she doesn't know of any.

The room in which I stayed on the top floor looked all right, it was well cleaned, however I soon realised that it had mould in the wooden floor and bathroom floor. This turned into pollution in certain parts of the room, the windows shelf had this also the bathroom. In my view the room is not fit to stay in. Shortly after I arrived about 22.00 I heard someone opening and shutting room doors on the floor below. The front door is not locked, the reception office is in the adjacent building. People can enter the building any time before it is locked for the night. The accommodation is not fit to sell to anyone in the face of ongoing damage. It has been made too mouldy to sell to anyone.

Pros: Location was great. you can find everything on hotel street. tube, train station and underground is close.
Cons: The room wasn"t clean enough. walls are so thin so you can hear everything from next door.

Cons: I would not recomend that anyone stay at this hotel. its not at 274 but actually 291 suites under a different name !!!!. the reception is what looks like an estate agents office and the hotel location is hideen between two bars. its like sharing a house. upon my arrival i was given a room next to a person who was drunk and blasting music. the towels in my room were stained. when i asked reception to get my neighbour to lower their music i was told by the hotel that the guest didn't want to turn down their music until after 12pm. i was shocked. i was then told i could move to another room but the floor was damaged. i moved to another room as i did not feel safe. this person was shouting and screaming and talking to homeless people outside my room. in fact i did not feel safe the whole night even when moved. three times in the morning, staff walked into my room to clean before 10am. my impression is that some of these rooms are being used on a long term basis by people who may have serious drink or drug problems or by vunerable people of the society who are homeless.

Pros: Very clean and perfect for a stop-over in london. had everything we needed and was well presented. staff were very helpful.
Cons: Quite hard to find unless you know what you're looking for as the "check-in" appears to be an estate agents at first glance (particularly in the dark!). most serious concern would be about security - street door to the apartments was always on the latch so anyone could walk in.

Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: The pillows were terrible, too flat!

Cons: General street noise and noise from bus stop outside

Pros: It was in a good area near a tube station.
Cons: The man at the desk did not bother to stop his personal mobile phone call to check us out. he was very rude. the room could have done with some tlc.
