 "Had a nice stay"
This is a great location for a stay in London. Many restaurants and shops in the area, and it is also close to Queensway tube station (5 minutes). Bayswater tube station is also located here, but we never used that stop.The room was not too big, but it was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Other aspects of the hotel such as cleanliness, location and room met our expectation. However, the management of the hotel should improve the hotel service quality in particular the staff at the reception. When we arrived at the hotel, she was so cool and not courteous. There was no smile on her face.

 "OK, but don't feel like coming back."
We stayed there for three nights. The first room we got, there was a lot of things I was surprised that they hadn't discovered that was broken or missing. The door to the shower was broken, the toilet brush as well. In the kitchenette there was missing a handle on the cabin underneath the sink, apparently containing the kettle and pots, so we thought they were missing + the light bulb missing in a standing lamp. They staff that evening was very friendly and told us that she would arrange a chance of room, but only the next day when we had one night left. The rooms are ok and quite small. Before booking I was looking for a nice hotel, being willing to pay a bit more than usual. But I did not feel that I got more out of that. The last day we needed to go to the airport very early and therefor asked the reception if they would order a taxi for us. When she asked for how much luggage we had I told her, not more than it can fit into a normal taxi. In the morning a big car arrived to the hotel. He gave the receptionist a paper, looking like paper rolled around a money note, and drove us from Queensborough terrace to Victoria train station (10-13 min fare). Arriving there he asked for 20 pounds - and would only except cash - because as he told me it was black money!! I objected that the hotel did not tell me, if is was a fixed price and he told me that it was not his problem. A fare with a normal taxi, at that time would normally be £6.60 - £8.80. It tells me a lot about the staff that they cheat costumers like that. Do not trust them and would never go back there!

Cons: The staffs were very rude. their attitude is appalling. most were from eastern europe but that should not be a reason to be rude and unfriendly.

 "The location of the hotel was excellent! a skip and a jump from hyde park..."
Pros: The location of the hotel was excellent! a skip and a jump from hyde park and only 2 blocks from queensway tube station and 3 from bayswater tube station. the kichenette is very helpful since most of the resturants and fast food closed around 9-10ish. me and my boyfriend like to eat late and snack so we used all appliances. the bathroom is actually very clean and new. the bed was pretty comfortable (but only comes with 2 pillows. no extra blanket or pillows given)the tv has a dvd slot in it so you can bring movies. (which i recommend if you plan on lounging on some days since the tv only has 3 channels) all in all it was a great location and worth it if your not gunna be in the room much. good for couples. just enough room.
Cons: 3 main things that ticked me and my boyfriend off:
1. we requested a room with a view and got a basement room. when asking the receptionist if we can change since we requested it a month in advanced and got a confirmation email stating the request can be and will be granted she said "oh well were booked"
2. well napping during the afternoon with the " do not disturb" sign on the door the cleaning girl knocked once then barged in! literally had no chance to get up. i was in shock and felt it quite alarming that she didnt see the sign that was dangling still from her rush through the door. and she still even had the nerve to ask "do you want me to clean?" umm...no were sleeping!
3. the receptionist at suite 43 (which you must check in at) is quite a character. very slow and for every question asked she replied "come tommarrow and ask the morning receptionist"


other then that the rooms are smaller then expected but we didnt stay in them much just for sleep and showering. i dont know if it was just us since we were in the basement but there are lots of noises at night. ohh and the tv only has 3 channels. no radio. just a simple battery alarm clock.

Pros: The room was not the biggest, but it was very functional. the bathroom was extremely nice, clean and spacious compared to the size of the room. really nice place to stay for a couple of nights and would recommend it to friends and family... :)
