Pros: Good location, staff and assistance.
Cons: Room 15 needed redecoration and general smartening up, and the beds were inadequate for a basically good hotel. the bedding, with light duvets and covers, would be very inadequate over a cold night and the covers would not protect a sleeper. the pillows are typically contract pillows with no depth and hard to sleep on. the provision of thick warm spare blankets would also improve the room and provide comfortable warmth.
breakfast in sundays should start at 0800, not 0830.
the reception and staff were very friendly and helpful, and the present condition of the hotel does not support its very good location and ease of access.

Pros: Location was perfect and one particular female desk clerk was incredibly helpful.
Cons: The majority of desk clerks were not great; wake-up calls were not accurate; smoke alarm went off at 545 am due to a customer smoking in their room and the carpet was filthy.

Pros: Great location, pleasant room, lovely breakfast at reasonable price.
Cons: Asked for more milk for coffee in room but was told that the desk assistant couldnt get us any. also there was a water fountain outside room which came on at 7.30 am and was very noisy, we mentioned this at reception and she just shrugged shoulders.

Cons: Internet connections very poor sometimes so slow that you cannot work. tv channels bad and the only one news channel bbc has a very bad sound.

Cons: For 120 pounds per night i've got a smallest room imaginable, so small that space between the lower end of the bed and the wall was about 1 foot, could barelly pass.
very hot (even in june!), no air conditioning, shower almost unusable (water pressure), poor internet (wireless) usability...
what more could be wrong!?

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. the location is very good, just 5 minute walk from gloucester road underground.
Cons: The single room (26) was tiny, the window was broken and glued back together, the window wouldn't stay open (i had to prop it open with a water bottle) and even with the window open it was absolutely roasting hot even with the heating turned off. the bathroom had recently been retyled but the paint on the fixtures (faucets etc) had peeled off and felt decrepit. never had hot water, just warm water. overall, depressing room.
