Pros: The location was ideal, just a 10-minute walk from two underground stations in the heart of london. apartment was very large, sunny, airy and well furnished as to beds, sofas, tables, and kitchen wares. we loved having a washing machine, although it takes a tremendous amount of time to do a single load of washing from the wash cycle through drying.
Cons: Because the apartments are available for short stays (3 or more nights), it would be very helpful to provide a set of basic supplies such as one finds in timeshare accommodations: dish cloth, dishwashing soap, pot holders, tea towels, salt and pepper. we expected to purchase groceries, but did not expect to provide our own dishwashing soap and even bath/hand soap. the suggested supply packet should be used when people rent the apartment for two weeks or less--it seems silly to ask people to buy a whole bottle of dishwashing soap, salt and pepper, etc., if they are only go to be there for a few days.
