Very small Hotel, small and very few rooms. Beware. NO LIFT / ELEVATORS.....!!!!! Breakfast is good. Friendly people..... Affordable..

Adare Hotel presents itself as a well maintained, friendly hotel. From the outside! To cut a long story short: If you don't care for any comfort, for rooms that smell fresh and clean and you don't mind your bed is pothole paradise , then this hotel shood be on top of your list. Isn't there anything to say in favour of Adare. Yes: it's good value for price and location near Hyde park. But there are many more, far better hotels that cost only a little more.

i have stayed 5 times now in london budget hotels, this was far the best Up to date deco, warm and clean in the centre of Paddington. Nice breakfast served by friendly staff. Would have expected to pay more than i did, based on previous experiences

would not stay here again was put up into an attic which had alot of stairs the shower would not work the receptionist was not very pleasent he did show us how to work the shower which we had to turn on the hot tap and then turn the shower on very strange. i asked for an extra pillow did not have them never got one in the end on the sunday night asked for milk told me to go across to the shop for a hotel b&b these are essentials. The breakfast was not very nice for the price i paid i think it was joke of a hotel. I work as a head receptionist and this hotel was not very customer focused i would advise travellers not to stay here again

Great location close to Paddington station, very small and depresing room on the top floor (no lift), unconfortable bed, thin walls so you can hear your neighbours very well, but surprisingly good breakfast and friendly staff.

We had a wonderfull springvacation at Sussex Gardens in full blossom. We arrived by train and Paddington station is only a short walk away.The management of Adare is very friendly, and they are trying to serve you the best they can. The bathrooms are a little crampie and old and could use a thourough cleaning on the tough spots. Waterpressure was a little low in the rush hours, so don't expect the shower to be forcefull. I suggest that with the new non-liquids policy in airplaines,it would be nice to offer some shampoo with the soap. Our bedroom for three had a reasonable size. The beds were good and, with our room at the backside of the hotel, we had a quiet and good night rest.Full English breakfast is included, and made to your special wishes.A nice place for a few-day stay!

Pros: Excellent location. my room was at the 5th floor. no lift. very narrow stair cases. breakfast was very good. no wi-fi connection in room, was available only at the lobby.reception was very good.

Pros: I was really disappointed with this hotel and wish that i had spent more and stayed elsewhere

Pros: Nice staff, very polite, helpful and friendly.
Cons: The hotel was not the same quality as the photos shown on the website. no lifts or escalators. i stayed 4 nights and the bed linen has not been changed. first hotel in uk where i had to show my passport at, and getting asked where i am coming from and where i am heading to after leaving the hotel and sign with my id number, as if i am a suspect ! had to ring the door bell to be let into the hotel so if no one at the reception for some reason this mean that i had to stand outside the hotel till someone let me in. to be honest it felt to me more as a guest house rather than a hotel.

Pros: Adare hotel was situated in a great and safe neighborhood. it was down the street from paddington station. it was close to the underground. it was just 1 minute from the stop point to the hop on hop off bus. fresh breakfast every morning. the room was clean and warm.
