The Admiral is perfectly located in Central London and within easy access to all popular London attractions such as the world famous Natural History Museum, Hyde Park, Madame Tussauds, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum are a short walk along Kensington Gardens. How to reach the Admiral Hotel? How to reach the Admiral Hotel?
By train, from Heathrow Airport: The easiest but maybe the costly option to reach the hotel is by taking the Heathrow Express Train to Paddington train station. The Admiral hotel is at walking distance from the station. Non-stop trains run every 15-minutes and the journey between Heathrow Central and London Paddington takes 15-minutes (a few minutes more for Terminals 4 or 5).

By metro, from Heathrow Airport: If you rather save a few pounds you may take the Piccadilly Line to Earl's Court and once there interchange to the District Line towards Edgware Road and get off at “Paddington” station. The Admiral hotel is at walking distance from the station.

Easy to get to paddington underground station
There is no lift, only stairs. bathroom smelt musty and there was 4 beds in a double room which cramped the room.

The location is fine
We had to climb up four steep stairs with all our luggage to a very small room with no bathroomfacilities whatsoever (only a toilet and a shower and a very small toiletsink with no room whatsoever for toothbrush etc.). breakfast was a disaster, so we skipped it after the first morning.

Clean rooms, pleasant staff, good location, quiet.
The hotel room was not ready when we arrived slightly after what was scheduled, we thus had to wait for the rooms. then we realised that one of the room was not at all ready with a bed upside down. we were promessed to have it upon our return in the evening. in fact the problem was that we were given the wrong room, and our room was ready. one other point, we didn't have any soap in one of the rooms.

We actually stayed in their sister hotel next door but one, i can't recall its name. the staff were very polite and sorted out the tv which wasn't working initially.
Initially given two rooms where someone else was booked into them. eventually given twin room on lower ground floor. i wouldn't stop here again for more than one night.
