"You get what you pay for"
Friendly staff, you can leave your bags at the hotel after checking out if you have a late flight, short walk from Victoria Coach Station (4 minutes), quiet neighborhood, could have been cleaner, average beds, the window next to the bed couldn't close properly, family rooms quite small, average breakfast - not a lot to choose from but plenty of it. All in all - ok value for money.

"A decent place to stay near Victoria"
Stayed 4 nights with 2 adults and 3 kids (5+9+11) in 3 single beds and one double bed. Rooms are always small (and expensive) in London and this is no exception. No good place to put a large bag. No good place to put clothes for 5 persons. Beds looked good but were very hard. The breakfast room is much too small - it would need to have twice as many chairs to fit the guests - but it only has room for half as many chairs that already are there. The breakfast food is simple but OK. Good service level with 24 hour reception. The entrance door (first impression) is very difficult to open. This is a decent hotel with the main advantage of being close to Victoria station. If returning to London, this hotel would still be an option for us.

 "Poor value"
Price paid: GBP 420 (includes VAT and breakfast)Duration: 3 nightsRoom: double bedVery poor value considering the price paid. The breakfast room is merely a cafeteria, not friendly at all. Looking closer at the bathroom, it was not clean at all, the room was so tiny that we couldn't walk in the room with the two luggages. One important point: when I've paid for the stay, the staff debited my credit card in my local currency, using an external provider that had a far higher exchange rate than my bank... of course the staff did not ask for my opinion.I would not recommend this hotel.

The room was smaller than expected but it was a pleasant stay overall. The management were polite and helpful. The shower was clean. The breakfast was better than expected and the vending machine in the lobby was helpful.Overall I am pleased with the stay.

 "And the breakfast?"
We can say that it is a very good hotel: great position, small but fine rooms with a huge shower, good price.. But for the breakfast they could make something best, some problems with bread and coffee.

 "it was ok"
room was ok, and cleaned well. every day new towels, but we found hair in the sheets. very clean wifi, but one day it didnt work. the breakfast was very minimal, it was a very tiny breakfast room for all guests, and it could happen, that there was no free seats left. every day same food (crossants, toasted bread, ham, cheese, cereals).annoying was, that there was no elevator and you have to carry your luggage all 4 floors up. because we had the rooftop-room, there was just a tiny window, which we couldnt close fully, so we heard the wind whistling in at night.all in all it was ok for the prince, but i think it could be better.

"Affordable hotel close to Victoria Station"
The location close to Victoria is great , especially if you arrive via Gatwick Airport. The hotel is OK if you take into account price and location, BUT its quite cramped, especially the 4-bed-family-rooms, the breakfast room and the staircase. There's no elevator, so its a challenge to get heavy luggage up to the rooms. Breakfast is continental as announced , so don't expect too much.

"Quiet and in the walking distance"
The hotel has been refurbished, rooms are small but clean and quiet with regard to street / outside noise. The staff was friendly and unimposing. Location is very good - close to station and shops/restaurant, sometimes we didn't take the tube, just walked to Buckingham Palace/Piccadilly/Regent St or to the Natural History and Science Museums.
