i was looking forward to staying at this hotel as i was running the london marathon on the sunday but from the time my family and i stepped into the room things were not right from the knocking window the view of the rubbish bags out of the basement window and the very small tv which was so high up the wall it was impossible to watch.the noise at night was a nightmare 2 hours sleep the knocking pipes the lumping and banging from above to the kitchen staff making noise at 6 am what a waste of money never would i stay a this hotel again and i`m just gald i didn`t have the cold toast for breakfast my wife did and it was something to behold.

"Would book again"
I had a tiny little room in a 4th floor. Yes,the steps, uuuh! But never mind, the room was cosy and compact. I really liked it. Bathroom was very nice. The only thing that was missing was the TV channels..! There were only 4 channels going on. But otherwise I would go there again.

"inadmissible"
we had 3 roommoves 1. room window broken, 2. Hot water tap in the shower was broken. 3. waterpipe was broken and the water came from the ceilling.the service was very unfriendly. I was asking for an other blankett and the reception told me it is not possible. The rooms was not cleaned. They just changed the sheets and the pillow cover. No dusting, no cleaning at all. A lot of hairs and dust in the bathroom

"Good value for money."
God value for your money if you look for a place to sleep. Breakfeast room too small and you must expect some waiting time in rush hour. Rooms are small but clean. Toilet is sufficient and with own shower.

"Booked for new years eve fireworks, the hotel is in a excellent location..."
Pros: Booked for new years eve fireworks, the hotel is in a excellent location for this, just over a mile away, so withing walking distance with young children, also located close to bus and train station if travelling into london
Cons: Although only a 2* hotel the rooms were a little dated and worn, compared to communal areas of the hotel. but the linen was clean and a decent size with a en suite for a family of 4

"short stay in London"
Good hotel for a short stay only. There are no elevators, so it's not really made for longer stays (= heavy baggage) or people with walking disabilities. The breakfast room seemed a bit small for the guests, it was also packed with tables that walking around was made difficult. There wasn't much of variety offered, either. The window in our room wasn't working properly but we had someone looking into it right away. But the problem couldn't really be solved. I recommend this hotel for younger travellers who really just need a bed and washing facilities.

"The hotel is located in an excellent area"
Pros: The hotel is located in an excellent area. the coach station and underground are 5 minutes on walk. the people in reception are friendly and can help you any time. they can buy online for you entry tickets to some attractions so you can save money.
Cons: On our email we’ve asked for a room at least on 1st floor. we got on ground floor, next to the main road. we had to keep windows & curtains closed all day. the room was too small for a family of 5. no space for our handbags. the breakfast was very simple. just after the end on breakfast time they remove all stuff. if you ask for more coffee the staff refuse to serve.
