We got transfered to a sister hotel which was nicer. we didnt have to pay. free transfer. both hotels where clean and staff where nice to us. however at the best western the staff where arguing and dissagreing alotWasted nearly 2 hours on the transfer which took agesAnonymous

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, facilities were adequate and room was cleanWe were given a room on the third floor, but the lift did not work. the safe was not working and remained so for the duration of our stay. the aircon rumbled on the final day and the server broke down for several hours on 19/20 augustFrost

Eventhough i had asked not to be in the basment, they tried to put us in a basment room, room was too small, there were construction in the lobby. i think the price of this room was too much for the room accomodation we got.Nothing too bad, just that the rooms are too small for the money and the location is good but not that great, mostly business folks, single person will do ok in the room.Anonymous

We were not given the type of room we had booked and there was anargument as to which room we had indeed pre-booked. we booked a twin de-luxe room and were shown into a tiny double room which was in the basement. when we returned to reception we were eventually allocated two single rooms which were also tiny.Anonymous

Hotel is in good location for public transport. the furniture is refurbed and easy to use.The rooms are tiny, so small there is no refrig inside. although the room is said to have safety box, there is none in the hotel and the staff stated that they removed the safety boxes from the rooms.Gemperle

We were pleasantly surprised about the quality of the hotel. very clean, friendly staff and close proximity to the tube. overall a positive experience. The only negative would be that we were in one of the basement rooms, but we did not spend much time in it so it was not a huge negative. Anonymous

Close to the centreIt was not far from hyde park, but the road was very short and it was not easy to find it....in thr reception there was some problems with our booking so we had to wait few minutes, then later we got different room which was really small, shower was small.early in the morning pigeons started to sing there songs and we couldn't sleep any longer...Anonymous
