 "Very good"
We loved the location of this hotel. Very Close to Canary wharf and short distance to Public transport. Very nice environment for a walk along the Canals. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent.

 "Customer service gone wrong"
I was in a room on the 11th floor... There was no warning you had to go up a spiral staircase to get to your room....this really only posed a problem when I fell from the third step badly spraining my ankle!!Any way the room was a double room, the size was excellent for me and my daughter, however it had a mobile electric heater which started sparking as soon as we plugged it in...unfortunately we were so tired and so cold we just prayed that it would work throughout the night. When reported to reception they were not apologetic or concerned they just advised me maintenance were not in the building and another heater would be provided.... Another heated was provided, this was an even smaller fan heater which we had to keep on all night plus add an additional blanket and duvet.I parked my car for £15 a day.... The first morning I could not get my ticket to work, there is nothing on the machine to get help so my friend went into the hotel the reception staff came out and said the machine was not working and let us out, the same thing the next morning only this time the staff were very rude and directed to another ticket slot.....no apology or courtesy, the attitude was as if I had inconvenienced them.The environment of this hotel was ruined by the staff's apathy and poor customer service I also acknowledged a colleague making a complaint about the shower in his room and they were very dismissive. Although changing the room very dismissive of the inconvenience.The best customer service in this hotel can be found in their onsite restaurant but unfortunately the quality of food does not match.

 "Warm, comfortable & clean!"
Really happy with my stay at Britannia. Partly because I got a good deal on the price. Although the hotel I suppose is starting to look a little tired, the hotel was warm comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. I would definately stay here again should another deal come up when I need it.

Citi, Credit Suisse, Morgan & Stanley..... I felt like an investment banker as well.Very clean location, short way to the Thames Path. Only the shower should have repair. But a cold shower every morning is good for fitness.

Pros: The hotel was well located within walking distance of shopping and food. clean, but worn and dated.
Cons: Many hidden charges. you had to pay to swim and pay for a towel when you finished. parking was 21 gbp for 24 hours and we were still charged the full amount, even though we only parked for 15 hours. the hotel itself had peeling paint and scratched furniture. although the room was clean, it was very run-down

Pros: The standard double room was very spacious. we had a nice sitting aread and a flat-screen tv. there was an electric kettle for us to make tea and coffee, and a hairdryer was provided as well. the bathroom was very modern and the water temperature and pressure was great. we had a nice view of the london eye from our room.
Cons: It would have been nice to have a channel guide in the room since we were travelling from abroad and were unfamiliar with the stations.

Pros: Delay in check in but then they upgraded us to a deluxe room. helpful staff, 10 min walk to train then 10 min on tube to london centre. was very happy with hotel for price.
Cons: Water wasn't overly warm and i would recommend they put a small fridge in rooms as when you're staying a few days it's nice to buy a bit of food.
