Superb Hotel; great location, rationale price, great service, good restaurant. Room was well insulated, extremely quiet. Will definitely stay there again when in London. Best hotel for the price I have had the pleasure to stay in in downtown London.

 "Comfort in the Heart of London"
Although an all to brief stay, every aspect of our time at The Crowne Plaza St James was excellent. Staff were attentive and offered genuine interest in our stay, as well as promoting how the hotel could make our stay more comfortable.Great location, brilliant beds and I would not hesitate to recommend or stay here again.

 "All Front!!"
There was a mix up with the reservation and the hotel had only got a reservation for 1 room. After producing my email confirmation which clearly stated 2 rooms this was sorted out quite quickly and I cannot fault the reception staff for their service.Now the negative the room was small and tired looking, carpets (and underlay if there was any) had lost all pile and spring!! If had have paid what the hotel initially expected £238 room only I would have been incredibly disappointed.The reception area and staff are an absolute credit to the hotel, just a shame the rooms very of a lower standard the the average Travel lodge/Premier Inn.

The Hotel is in a prime location in the City ans is not far from St James tube station.The rooms are well apointed and the beds are extremely comfortable.Overall i was very impressed with the Hotel.The only criticism would be that the breakfast is expensive at £22.50 per head

Pros: The hotel was in a great location, just a few blocks from westminster abbey and london eye. the lobby was beautiful and the staff were friendly and helpful. we were given a free upgrade to a suite, without making a request. i would certainly stay here again.
Cons: Minor comment. the hotel has very long, winding halls.

Pros: For the pricepaid there are other hotels with rooms that are better maintained. i am a platinum with intercontinental and was surpirsed and dissapointed on how poorly the rooms were furnished and maintained.
