 "Pleasently Suprised"
We were three girls traveling alone in our 20s and were pleasently suprised my the Dover. It is in a fanstaic location, just minutes from Victoria Station. The rooms and the bathroom were very clean! We felt safe walking to the hotel at night by ourselves as well. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a budget hotel in London!

 "Short stay in London"
the location of the hotel close to Victoria station was just perfect for our needs. Very central to all main attractions.Great staff very friendly and accommodating, secure large personal safe to store laptop or valuables.Able to leave luggage once checked out to enjoy London before travelling again.only down side the number of stairs to climb, but the positives outway this unless you are old and cannot carry luggage, however, I am sure the friendly staff would help.Great kitchen staff and fresh breakfast daily

 "Nice having breakfast included with price of room"
Pros: Nice having breakfast included with price of room. outside of hotel is attractive. location great - walked to buckingham palace and the show at the victoria palace theater.
Cons: The room was so small - hadrdly had room for our suitcases. little sink located in room not bathroom, very small. shower did not drain properly - water all over little bathroom.

 "Ideal location for a short stay in london 5 minute walk from victoria coach..."
Pros: Ideal location for a short stay in london 5 minute walk from victoria coach station. friendly & helpful staff
Cons: Be aware lots of steep stairs to climb & not always hand rails not ideal if you are elderly & have trouble with stairs. room was cold & heating not working in room when we first arrived, however was rectified when we contacted reception. no cooked breakfast, but a great pub at the top of the raod that did a smashing full english for £5!

Pros: The linen was clean and the heating left on in the room overnight. the toilet was clean.
Cons: It was still cold in the room, the pillows were lumpy and there were very old fittings in the room- yellowy plastic hairdryer and radio. but it was adequate for a brief stop over.

Pros: Super-convenient to victoria station, which means super-convenient to all of england (and france for that matter!!). i really liked this place -- remarkably kind staff, great rates, extremely clean, and fantastic location. i am all over the dover!!
Cons: Nothing. small rooms but that's london, and especially so in bargain hotels.
