Clean room, good breakfast, in the middle of london!My reservation wasn't received by the hotel, i came and nobody knew of my arrival/reservation. luckily there was a vacant room, but otherwise i would have had a reservation but no room! the hotel was in the middle of construction works/ronovation, so the interior was sealed in.Anonymous

el hotel es la tipica casa inglesa de 3 pisos, más el sotano.

Great location, walk about 15 min. and you´re in the centre of london! the underground is about 100m from the hotel!The tv didn´t work and first night we had a cold shower. levy

The price is very good considering the location. walking distance (30 minutes) to theatres and soho area.Checkout is very early (10:30am). tv in the room was not working.Anonymous

Great value for money and great location. room was clean and tv had a dvd player included as well. well heated and comfortable, i would stay here again. would recommend to young people like myself on a budget who want to stay in great city location.No real reception area -place is run from a small office room downstairs by one man only, so when checking out there was no one there and we had to wait for someone to appear -no bell to ring and no one answered the phone. also no lock on our bathroom door, but we did not mind, as there was only two of us (myself and my partner). no real bad problems with the place though, nothing that spoiled our stay.Anonymous

Friendly staffThe hotel looks much better on the website than in reality. it is an old hotel which reminded me of a dormitory. the heating and hot water was only on between 6pm and 9am. sunday we didn't have hot water. the location is ok but not as brilliant as they advertise. the price per room is not appropriate. it is worth 50 gbp in maximum, not 85 gbp as they advertise on their website. Great locationPoor standard and confused staff. first nigt we stayed in a shabby room, second night and during the rest of our stay we had another room, it was better. but it was not hotel standard. the web page announced fitzroy as a hotel and when we arrived it was a hotel and b&b. it was more b&b than a hotel. no reciption.Roper

It has a good location.Not very clean, wash basin plugs missing as were other bathroom fitments. wardrobe doors and cupboards with no handles or knobs, cracked tiles and broken gazing in showers.Anonymous

Nice location...nice breakfast.We did not have hot water for a full day. and the tv never worked. could not completely shut off the shower, so we could hear it dripping all night long. really, this hotel should cost 100 lounds for 2 nights, and not 140.
