Pros: Quiet, good nights sleep.
Cons: Room not cleaned properly. tv didn't work. room on outside of main building so you have to walk around to smaller building.

Pros: We stayed for one night prior to our holiday abroad. there were no complaints, acceptable, comfortable room for the price. the 3 course carvery was very good and reasinably priced. it certainly allowed us to have a good meal without scouring an area we knew nothing about. if we travel from gatwick in the future we will certainly consider using the car parking and shuttle service from the hotel.
Cons: This is not exactly negative however, it would have been better if we had known to use the hotel address and not the post code for our satnav! the destination is actually in the middle of the m23!! took a couple of goes to find the hotel!

Pros: When a fault was reported it was dealt with swiftly
Cons: The room was very cold & even with the heating on full it was 4 am before i was warm.

Pros: The gym was great - very well equipped. most of the staff were nice and friendly.
Cons: The smell throughout the corridoors was horrible - never went away. the phone/data reception only worked in the hotel foyer. could not even make a phone call or check emails from our room.

Cons: Breakfast was acceptable at best, precooked food kept hot under lamps. fresh fruit would have been nice.
they claim excellent parking, what a load of rubbish. hotel offers airport,longterm parking, therefore patrons are offered a space in a muddy, badly lit, field, unless one is lucky. one reception staffmember thought this is quite acceptable. would we stay there again? no.

Cons: Room was filthy. when we arrived there was on booking so we had to leave and find another hotel at 11.30 at night. then i get charged the following day as a no show. staff on the first night were very rude but as we stayed became more pleasent.

Pros: There is a shuttle bus from the airport to hotel,which is great and takes only 10-15 min to go.nice room with good facilities.area around the hotel is quiet,it's definitely not a party place,if you look for one.

Pros: The hotel has a shuttle that runs 24/7 to and from gatwick. it runs at steady times, and its reliable. also, for how nice the rooms are, the cost of a room is a steal really.
Cons: My lodge room was a little small, and oddly enough it had no clock in it, which made waking up early enough to catch our flight a bit of a trick. but their wake up call got us up on time to make it to the airport.

Pros: A wonderful hotel, i stayed in the lodge building and loved my quaint, comfortable little room. the staff was helpful and the spa and gym attached to the hotel were a great way to start the day. i would definitely recommend the britannia to anyone passing through london, every convenient to the gatwick airport and the hotel shuttle service to and from the airport is very reliable.
