 "Cheap- but no sleep"
The staff working in the reception as well as the security staff were very helpful and service-minded. The location was good, close to major tube and train stations. The doors to the roooms were extremely thin and the loud noise from the corridors and the entrance kept us awake during the nights. The room smelled of mould. The beds were good and the toilets and the showers (those that worked..) were clean and tidy. Breakfast was alright, but very crowded.

 "Great place for young people - and the young at heart"
excellent value for money, very clean, good breakfast, great location. Doormen rather intimidating - someone should teach them to smile and be more welcomming! I would definitely stay here again!

Pros: All fine.
Cons: We had a room above the chill out lounge and the noise of music kept us awake untill 3am. i was not aware of the posibility of getting a room there.

Pros: I really loved that toilets were in good condition all the time. they were not dirty at all.
Cons: Hostel rooms were a bit uncomfortable and would not recommend to a person who would seeks good comfortable rooms. table and a chair would be nice since the bunk beds are very low.

The Generator Hostel is located near Russell Square in the center of London. From this hostel it is a short walk to the world's famous British Museum. Tottenham Court Road, Holborn, Oxford Street and Covent Garden are also within easy reach.

There are several tube stations in the surroundings of the hostel for you to find your most convenient way to move around London city.
