 "OMG"
The staff was really friendly. The rooms weren't very clean, fungus and hair on the walls sticky cubboards and so on. Really old hotel, needs to be refurbished. We were put in a very small room wich had the name plate "private" on the door. We didn't mind at first but because I'm jusing cruches I could bearly move around. So we asked for a different room, wich we got. This was a twinroom and besides sligtly more space the room itself was just as bad. Like the other room, the shower wasn't functioning properly and so on. Breakfast was in the basement were you could order an egg wich was swimming in butter. And our last day they were even out of eggs. So the only thing you could get on your toast was jelly and cheese. Further more there was koffie, thee and cornflakes at that's it. The location of the hotel was fine. Not even a 10 minute walk and you have reached the tube and not even 10 minutes in the tube brings you at the most busy places of London.I wouldn't go back here.

 "Dirty Hotel"
I stayed at Hamiltons Hotel with my daughter for a long weekend. Our room was very little and very dirty. The shower had not been cleaned. There was hair and other dirty things in it and the mirror had lots of stains on it. The window couldn't be closed properly, so there was a lot of noise. We stayed on the top floor (3th) and there is no elevator. There are carpets on the floors everywhere. They haven't been cleaned for years i think! They are old and weathered. The toilet was filthy and the dustbin was full al the time.I know we booked a low-budget hotel, but that does not mean it must not be clean! There was breakfast in the basement of the hotel, but after we saw our room, we had breakfast at Starbucks. Never Hamiltons again for us!

 "Excellent hotel!"
Myself and my partner came to stay at this hotel on New Years Eve 2012. We were very pleased when we arrived, the hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and we checked in very quickly. The hotel was only a short walk from Paddington Station and we also walked to Hyde Park, which took around 20 minutes. We got a very good deal for the hotel considering its London and it was New Years Eve. The room was small, but for one night this wasnt a problem, plus we didnt spend much time in there as we were out and about enjoying new year in London. The room was very clean, well presented and everything we needed was in there. Will definitely recommend this hotel and we will be looking to stay here again on our next trip to London.

 "Very nice hotel staff"
Pros: Very nice hotel staff. breakfast is ok, unfortunately without fruits. the hotel is very well located between the underground station paddington and edgware road. fine restaurants in paddington are close to the hotel. property in the room was in generally ok. i would recommend this hotel for the good hotel staff and the very good location (underground stations really close).
Cons: The hotelroom is small, but the worst is the bathroom who is really small and not adapted e.g. for old people. the curtain in the shower was dirty and we felt like in a camping atmosphere !. the price that we paid is not fair compared to the quality of the bathroom.

 "Really friendly people in reception"
Pros: Really friendly people in reception
Cons: Breakfast was a bit confusing. long wait for scrambled eggs, by the time they came, we had eaten all the toast, and by the time the new toast came, the eggs were cold. it would have been great, if it had come at the same time.
