Pros: Friendly staff great location
Cons: You can hear everything through walls (tvs, converstion, coughing, snoring and worse) pitiful breakfast (cereal and toast) nothing hot - would not stay if you want a decent nights sleep

Pros: The location is good, right in the center of london.

Pros: I visited with my mum and daughter as our last night before we left for home. we were not expecting much for a one star hotel but were all very surprised at the quality and service we received. the staff were very helpful and polite at all times.
Cons: The only negative was the bathroom in our room it was a very very small room but the shower itself was wonderful and easy to use.

Pros: The cleanliness was excellent.
Cons: We were put into a room in the basement the first night, which was very noisy and not very nice. the bed was terrible. we were first given an acceptable room with a dobble-bed big enough for two persons on our second request!

Pros: Friendly staff. my room had en-suite bathroom though i had booked a basic room.
Cons: I was put in the alexander house hotel at 32 hugh street even though i booked holly house hotel. the room was up 6 short flights of stairs (no lift) in the attic of the hotel which would be very difficult for the elderly or disabled. the continental breakfast was very meagre. a bowl of cereal, 2 slices of toast with butter and marmalade and a small pot of tea or coffee. no chair or desk/table in the room.
