Hotel 43 London  

I stayed in this hotel on thursday 9th March (no facility for date in dropdown box above) and found it a very central location with a very pleasant Receptionist. Though room not a big one it was perfect for a brief stop over. It was very good value for money and considering I only found it on the web about 12 hours in advance of arriving in London. Also, with 2 tube stations nearby it was easy to get around the city. I definitely would stay there again.

There are several issues with the hotel. The housekeeping staff leave huge duffle bags of linens and towels all over the property in the hallways. The pipes are very loud, if someone flushes a toilet in the night it wakes you up. The hostel next door seems to let it's guests stay up and talk and laugh all night. The breakfast is very limited. The furniture seems to be mostly Ikea, which is not handling the wear and tear well. Good location, good value, but not completely up to par.

This hotel is perfect to stand some days in London. Central Linea Underground is very near .Ideal to know London Center. Hyde Park is close the hotel and you can cross it and arrive London Center too.

If you are in London to see London or visit friends/family and plan to sleep, shower and perhaps send a couple of emails from your hotel room then this place may suit you. It offers a good price for a clean and comfortable stay, with an adequate shower and an adequate breakfast. Fine if all you need is a good room and a handy location.

I suppose the question for me is would I stay here again? I would have to say yes the location was perfect: right beside the tube and Hyde Park. The rooms were spotless but they were tiny. The size of the room didn't bother us too much as the beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was all that was needed. My only fault with the hotel was the two receptionists they weren't the friendliest bunch.

Stayed here for two nights. It was an easy walk from Paddington Station which has a bullet train from Heathrow Airport. It worked out perfect in that regard. Saved a lot of time on the underground (about an hour) by using the express train to Paddington Station. For day to day, the underground is right around the corner. I think it was called Queensway. Hotel was in a good location to Hyde Park and Food. Hotel was newly updated with nice clean bathrooms. Beds weren't bad either (stayed in a twin room). Rooms are small but I don't require room to do any morning workouts and didn't want to have an dance parties in my room so that was fine for me. Has free wifi with log-in directions in the room so you don't have to bother the front desk with any directions.The nightlife in the area is rather limited. We did have to travel far from our hotel to find any place that didn't close at 11pm on the weekdays. The underground closes at midnight so we had to take a cab back to the hotel so just keep that in mind if you travel too far from the hotel. It is in an expensive part of London (we found) but then again, it's London. For us, London put a new definition on the word expensive. However, for the area, this hotel offers a clean, safe, and convenient place to crash for the night. For the area, it is extremely affordable. The other options for this level of hotel in the area are way more expensive.

Nice small hotel in quiet place, suitable for holiday 3/4 days.Breakfast plentiful and good, but with little choiceroom small but comfortable beds

Very kind and helpful staff. Highly recommend. The staff helped me print my boarding pass and called me a cab when I was getting ready to leave for the airport. I really appreciated that. The breakfast was nice, and the room looked great.

Great location & quite street to sleep, small but very clean room, good bed, fine breakfast. Of course maybe a bit expensive but London is expensive in everything, so that's why we had a good deal I think! I definitely would come back sometime!

Standard hotel however reception staff service was below expectations. Good location, close to two tube stations on separate lines which makes getting into central London quite easy. Breakfast is included in the cost of the room and staff in that area were quite attentive.

Hotel 43 has an excellent location. The service we received was of an acceptable quality. Our rooms were made up neatly everyday, and the breakfast served daily is just lovely.I will certainly recommend Hotel 43 to friends and family planning to visit London.

The hotel enjoys a central location. the staff is qualified. and speaks italian .the service is great. rooms small but clean. a short walk from the underground and hyde park.

fridge didn't work. aircon didn't work. when i asked for some milk for cereals kitchen staff looked at the ceiling didn't say a word or smile just gave me the smallest amount even though we could see many new cartons in the kitchen. the breakfast buffet was very quickly cleared away before we had finished without asking if we needed anything.The girl on the front desk was extremely helpful when asked for directions.we definitely would not stay here again.mr and mrs ponting.

The hotel was quiet and in a good location. The bed was comfortable. The staff were polite. But, the room was small, the furniture tatty, the 'kitchen' had dirty crockery and its light wouldn't turn off, so we had to hang towels over the door to mask the light through the night. There was no tea, coffee or milk in the room despite this being highlighted on our booking. The bathroom was just OK. The breakfast room was far too small and crowded and the meal barely adequate. It was not worth £119. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. we were glad to leave

We went here for 4 days and the acommodation was good in general.The breakfast was very poor, it was the least, the bed too small but to stay 4 days was ok.The worker was very quiet and little unfriendly.

The 43 hotel was easy to find, from Pancras, the 390 bus is simple and nice. The proximity of Hyde park is of high value ! Service was efficient, everything clean, breakfast good.Our room presented several problems. First it was no bulbs in the bed's lights and, inspite of our demand, no way to obtain light during the three nights... Second as long as the window cannot close fermely, the room was sometimes noisy.Outside of these two small problems, we were happy with the hotel.

Pros: Next to the queensway subway station, the area where hotel is situated is good (restaurants, markets, ice-skating hall..) hotel was peaceful, perfect for city holiday for few days.
Cons: Cheapest rooms are quite small.

Cons: More pillows would be good

Pros: The location is excellent for visiting londen

Cons: Staf did just wat it had to do didn´t show any enthusiasm was not too friendly
there was not a nice smell in the hotel
