 "nice stay"
Great location.Staff very friendly and helpful. Some rooms are on the street and they are more noisy than rooms on the court. It is a good place to stay. They do not propose breakfast, but we loved the cafe pascucci that it is very close to the hotel.

"Great Location but CAUTION --rooms vary!"
Location is great, Kensington area direct on Picadilly Circus Line, especially when travelling via Heathrow. Rooms vary depending on the price. We had standard double room, very small and had a loud hissing noise, day and night. It was like sleeping in a broiler room. I asked the reception about it but they said they can not do anything about it. View from our room was blocked by a wall so barely got any sunlight. Can find a better hotel in the area for the price we paid for 3 nights.

 "London Base"
We stayed two nights. We liked the location, modern facility and the small kitchenette was a plus. A major fault is the room doors which are very noisy both opening and closing. Noise really travels down the hallway. Small room but adequate esp. for one person. Price is right.

"A nice hotel in a perfect area!"
Really a nice hotel, located very close to Earl's court tube station. Room is very clean, although service came at 16.00 to make my room up. I had a room in the lower ground but having two windows on a parking lot so not that bad. Facilities in my room were good: Nespresso coffee machine (really appreciated). Staff was friendly and helpful.

 "Base 2 Stay"
The service provided was great but the room had a heating issue. I t was not looked at until the next evening and it was not fixed. Also, for room which are below street level need better insulation.

 "Great place, great location"
Although small, our room was very clean, nicely decorated and equipped and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was terrific. With the 5 minute walk to Earls Court tube, base2stay was a great choice for our first visit to London.

 "Base to Be"
This was a great find. The hotel was very easy to find - a five minute walk from Earls Court tube station. Clean, friendly and the staff were very helpful and patient (especially with two IT illiterate guests who struggled with the TV/WIFI !). A perfect place for a short break with two teenagers. The hotel bent over backwards to get us all accommodated at short notice. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for making this a great trip.

 "London august 2012"
We stayed 4 days in Base 2 stay Kensington and had "the warmest day" of the year ! We were so lucky with weather !! The room was really clean and neat, very comfy twin beds and quiet as well. We regret we could open the window just for 10cm. We appreciated very much the kitchenette and fridge, so we could have breakfast before going outside. The hotel is 5 min walk from "Earl's court" tube station but we used only buses to go in town (20min), it was perfekt. One black point : to join Victoria station, we asked at reception for a cab but they charge 16 pounds and work with specific company, so we went our own way with usual black standard cab and payed 10 pounds to go there in 15min.The location of hotel is good, quiet area.

"Great place to stay, great time"
Convenient location, slightly away from the frenzy that the Olympics are bringing to London. The people are very friendly and helpful. This is a nice neighbourhood, walking distance to many museums. The hotel could use a bit of paint in the corridors, and a separate shampoo and conditioner (only a combo shower gel and shampoo was provided). Kitchen was very convenient.

 "Helpfull staff, excellent location"
During our stay at Base2stay we had an unfortunate incident where we were stranded in London because of a stolen passport. The staff we very helpful in cancelling our accomodation at our next stop and helping make arrangements for when we were able to move on. They were also obliging in arranging for us to extend our stay for as long as it took for us to sort out our passport issues. The position of this hotel was excellent in an easy to access area from the tube. The rooms, though small, were clean and well serviced with all the amenities needed. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone heading to London.

"Close to earl's court exhibition centre, the hotel was clean, the staff..."
Pros: Close to earl's court exhibition centre, the hotel was clean, the staff friendly and accommodating and the room well appointed and clean.
Cons: My room was one of the small singles in the basement so not very spacious but perfectly adequate for a 'base to stay'.
