K+K Hotel George London

The hotel that we chose was absolutely perfect for our requirements. The rooms, though on the smaller side were perfect. Very clean, with fresh linen and towels daily. The breakfasts are outstanding. The location is absolutely perfect for both business and pleasure. It was an absolute joy to stay in such a good, clean and well maintained hotel. We will definitely stay there again and I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were excellent.

The K and K is easily one of the best hotel options available. It is a quick underground trip from Heathrow (no need to change lines). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay--we would definitely choose the K and K again!

We enjoyed being so close to shops and the Tube. The breakfast was a great way to start our day and the service was very prompt and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are very small (compared to US), but having a heated bathroom floor was nice. The garden was beautiful and the bar was very pleasant. We appreciated their assistance arranging airport transporation upon our departure (including a take away breakfast bag).

Often I found 4-star hotels in London were below 2-star level in comparison to other countries. It is not easy to find a good hotel unless you pay a lot of money, however, K+K Hotel George did not disappointed me at all. The hotel locates very close to Earl's Court tube station. The breakfast was very good and kept me going until lunch time. All staff were very helpful and I could not say any negative things against them. The room was not particularly spacious but bright and clean. I will stay at the hotel again and certainly recommend it to the others.

Found the hotel on the net. Easy to book but made a telephone call to the hotel in regards to getting a single bed for me and my wife (instead of 2 single in a 3 parson room). It was fixed with what sounded like a smile =) and I got a e-mail to verify. Getting from Heathrow was easy as it could be, 1 train and a 2 minute walk. Very friendly staff and they sorted out a baby cot for us in no time. Asked for extra pillows and they were delivered, again with a smile, within 12 minutes. Had some problems with the water pressure the second morning and the guy told me when I suggested that perhaps "everyone" was taking a shower at the same time -No sir, I do not think it is that, but I will check and we will have this fixed within 30 minutes. -- and that is what happened, as he promised. Basically, everything needed to be done by staff was done so in a quick and professional manner.Getting into central London was very easy so I would say the location is quite nice.The breakfast was very good and no problem getting seated, the staff again helpful and friendly. I would not hesitate to stay there again, and can recommend to all. Whether you travel with children or not.

Pros: We had a triple room for 6 nights (me & my 2 teen age granddaughters) we found the hotel very good in every respect. located in a quiete sidestreet, 3 minutes away from the tube, we could come straight from heathrow airport on the picadilly line. the room was cleen, had a.c and everything we needed. beds were very comfortable. breakfast was excelent! the back garden is lovely, free use of computers and internet.i will definitely return to this hotel!
Cons: 1. the room was a bit small for 3 people.
2. the hotel telephone system did not allow me to use my personal automatic phonecard for budget international phone calls
