 "Nice hotel, but very small rooms"
The hotel is very nice, the location is fine although is kinda hard to find it because of the bad signing. The people are very friendly and helpful, the community kitchen is not very stocked but the products have good quality. The room was very clean and the bathroom had everything needed, the heating was great due to the cold outside but the size was appaling! Maybe 10 squared meters altogether. Nevertheless, there were no noises and the bed was confortable. The pillows were very flat, which for me is not good, but there are those who don't like them high and fluffy, so this is not a deal breaker.Since we were informed that the room was the smallest of the Guest House, when booking mention that you DON NOT want to stay in room number six.

 "Looks can be deceptive."
The bedroom, en-suite bathroom and communal kitchen were very clean, and freshly painted. However the building itself has as some obvious problems. A self help breakfast in the communal kitchen was included in the price. A simple "right turn as you leave the tube station "would have been useful in the directions. Tube and DLR close the guest house. A "Boris" bike stand was right outside with a cycle lane straight into the city.For £79 this was a clean en-suite room within easy reach of the city centre, however you need to ignore the outside of the building and go inside.

The front of the Hotel is terrible, however inside is clean. You can cook and it is possible to find markets and restaurants very close.

Pros: - friendly staff
- clean rooms
- on the first night, the room was small, then they upgraded the room to a more adequate size on the second day.
- availability of food in the fridge all day, this gives a flexibility in the breakfast timing
Cons: - just that the kitchen tools can be upgraded to make breakfast preparation better, for example: the pans used to make eggs.

 "We had a great stay at kings arms guesthouse"
Pros: We had a great stay at kings arms guesthouse. it's a familiar place where i immediately felt at home. the room and bathroom were basic but fine and clean. we stayed at the backside, so no noise at all from the kitchen or busy street. it was nice to eat in the kitchen, sometimes it was busy, but i think it was nice already it was possible to make food and drinks there. the staff is nice and helpful. the location is good, 5 minutes walk from a tube station and just a tube ride away from the centre. happy to have stayed there and planning to go back!
Cons: Just the bad chicken smell that came out of the kitchen the whole weekend.

 "The staff was very kind"
Pros: The staff was very kind. they gave us a better room on request for free, as were were having problems sleeping next to the noisy street. kitchen is great, wlan is free and fast, and a basic self-service breakfast (bread, eggs, milk, cornflakes, chips, coffee/tea) was included in price. the location is ok, within 5min walk from the nearest underground station (area 2).
Cons: The noise coming from the front street can be quite annoying if you are not used to it. there are some quiet rooms available though, on the other side of the building.

 "It is a really nice place to spend your holiday: near to the tube and the..."
Pros: It is a really nice place to spend your holiday: near to the tube and the rail station, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel with a 24 hr service. the place is good also to reach stansted airport, because there are coaches at bromley by bow station (terravision). rooms are clean and comfortable, staff is really nice and always help you for everything.
