South Kensington is home to South Kensington campus located at the center of London's cultural section and featuring examples of grand Victorian architecture. This is an exquisite college to tour, with decorative and ornate buildings and well kept landscaping. The campus is where the academic conference of London are held, featuring over 150 meeting rooms and seminar halls. After a long day of classes, students can relax in nearby Hyde Park or stroll the Serpentine to Kensington Gardens for a late afternoon nap or to just people watch. Later in the evening, taking in a concert at The Royal Albert Hall nearby is on the agenda. The Hall is well known for its exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows, but ultimately for its concerts, and there is no shortage of them to choose from.
Other attractions nearby include the famous Harrods shopping department store, an upscale and maybe even a little snooty (improper attire worn in will result in you being asked to leave) shopping experience, the Natural history Museum, The Science Museum, The Victoria and Albert Museum, and the Albert Memorial in Hyde Park, which was recently refurbished after standing since 1876 when Queen Victoria commissioned the memorial to her beloved husband. Prince Albert once again sits on his throne watching over all in his former glory.
