 "Not disabled friendly."
This hotel has so many stairs without a lift and the staff did nothing to assist us at all despite having a disabled guest. There is nothing on easy to book or the hotels website warning of this which I find very frustrating! Rooms were tiny, incorrect number of beds on arrival, facilities were terrible and in one room the second double was put in the most claustrophobic corner under the eaves which was awful! Be warned.... The photos do not represent the true place.

 "Small, complete and very clean"
A very small apartment. Everything was available, even an iron and board. It was very quiet and very clean. Rivington Street East End is a pleasant area with a lot of small restaurants, very close to Liverpoolstreetstation.

 "Not As Advertised"
Me and my partner stayed at Landmark Apartments for a weekend trip to London. Check in was easy after we'd found reception; it's a bit of a maze! The room we got was not at all as advertised: don't be fooled by the pictures provided. The apartment was very cramped and the furniture was awkwardly arranged. Luckily, the shower was broken too, so that gave us a chance to move to the apartment next door; certainly a lot more comfortable. Still not at all like the pictures provided, but much more comfortable and easy to live in.Beyond the initial disappointment of the apartment, it was very easy to come and go, with our own keys to the apartment block and very little hassle getting around. Only a few minutes from Old Street station, very central, and above all, very reasonably priced! If you're looking for a room to relax in, Landmark might not be for you; but it's a perfect place to put your head down at the end of the day, and good for budget travellers.

 "Too many stairs"
We had made a booking for a studio apartment before leaving on our trip. On arrival at Rivington Appts we were told that our booking was not available and we were given a family appt but we would have to move when our booked appt became available. It was a nuisance for us to have to pack up and move during our stay.When we had moved appts we found there wasn't a frying pan. When we asked at reception for a frying pan, it was promised but was not delivered to our room. We found the young man at reception when we arrived to be most helpful. As we had booked this accommodation over the internet we weren't aware of all the stairs that we would have to negotiate,through both the building as well as in the apt we were moved to.

 "Good, but Expensive for what it is"
Not a bad place, but much smaller than it seemed in the pictures. For the pricepoint, it is a bit much too -- there is no 24x7 reception (and the building/rooms really feel like an apartment building, not like a 150-pound+ per night hotel.)Location is great, however. And lots of cool places nearby. I probably wouldn't stay again unless it was <100 a night, just because it is a lot for what it is.Sonya, one of the receptionists, is amazing. Helped an incredible amount, considering the limited amenities of the hotel. Including arranging for non-down pillows to be bought for me, and getting my shirts dry-cleaned and picked up.

I would certainly recomment this hotel to others and I will more than likely come and stay at the hotel again in the not too distant future. It's in a great location and has all the amenities required.

good.i stayed for 2 nights.good rooms and good service.the rooms were clean and i stay well without any problem.i cannot say anything about the morning break-fast, because i haven,t do it.if i will return to london i will fix surely again this nice apartment.

 "Good service- Simple hotel/apartments"
A little noisy at night (there are a lot of clubs in the area) but overall a good apartment if you want a decent place to stay close to the City. If you're travelling for business or just finding your feet in London I'd recommend this place if you need to be walking distance to the City.

 "The luxury of Kitch"
The entrance was obscure and a friend visiting tthought I was staying in a brothel ..lHe smell in the entrance was parculiar. In any case they tried to give the appartment a luxurious feeling but with a taky taste and hence the pictures look great but when you get there you do not feel comfortable. The reception service you felt similar to the way they treat people at NY Kennedy airport ,, not precisely welcoming . the apartment room was OK and I did like the fact of having space., although having said that the entire interior spacing was bizar and nothing worked. out, the bathroom was probably 1square meter and the floo r heat ing was so hot that tit resembled a sauna + on bare feet was impossible to stand on the foloor

 "Disaster in London"
We actually did not get the chance to experience the apartments. The first day we were relocated due to a "plumbing" problem to Stratford city (7km away/ London zone 3) because they could not find anything else.... We asked to still see the apartment, but they didnt have the keys...The new hotel we got, was not even aware about the rebooking. They booked it by internet under a false adress. Worse they had already charged our credit card and we had to pay again for the night we spent there... we are still waiting to be refunded. We tried to call, but no one answered anymore.After 2 days complaining & several phone calls, they finally got us something similar in London. We are still trying to get to the bottom of this story.

 "Holiday in London"
Loction was spectacular, managers very good. We had a problem with our bed but the manager tried to rectify that as soon as he could. Apartment was a good size, great tv, good bathroom and big kitchen. All very good. Would definitely book there next time.

 "Boyfriends Birthday"
Good location and close to all bars and clubs in shoreditch which was ideal for me and my boyfriend as we are in our early 20's. Although the bed was extremely comfortable do expect noise when cargo (nearby club) kicks out at 3am. Very convenient and room was adequate for two night stay as we spent alot of the time out. Would be ideal for longer stay also as kitchenette was fully equipped for all cooking which was great.I do think the charge of £20 for checking in after 7pm on a friday night was unneccessary as 8pm is not late to have the reception occupied and it was not mentioned at all on the website prior to booking.

 "surprisingly poor review"
cleanliness: was surprised one day to find the towels instead of being changed were re-folded and hung back on the rack. and the piece of towelling that they had on the floor in front of the toilet was folded up and on the shelf with my toiletries one afternoon when i got back. and another day the room was filled with the smell of roast - most likely from the restaurant below - despite never having cooked in there and all the windows being closed.location: it is in a very cool location with lots of restaurants and bars. the drunks wandering home at night is the only downside.rooms: the rooms were good though the TV remote would not work from the bed and the floors were extremely cold and the heating for them did not workservice: quite good on check in and check out, but nothing special (i.e. no tour of the room and explanation of the facilities)value: like everything in london, quite expensive but considering the location and the setup of the apartment, reasonable in the endsleep quality: the bed was quite comfortable, though the pillows were very small and flatoverall: i liked the apartment and wanted to give this a good review but 'average' is what it deserves for the price paid and the little things that occurred that could be improved. would stay there again despite those however (better the devil you know maybe...)

 "Wonderful staying"
I found this accomodation very valuable for the price: I stayed there during the Olympics, quite close to the venues, and paid less than 100 £ per night for a wonderful studio deluxe apartment!Very spacious (rare to find in London), well furnished, all the necessary kitchenware provided, and quite clean: the only problem I experienced were hair on the linens on my arrival, but I asked for a change and the receptionist was very polite in apologizing and making change them and the duvet cover, too. In spite of this fault, they clean the room every day.If you needed, as me, for a checkin after 11pm, you'd have to pay an extra 40 £ for the receptionist's night shift.

 "Worst stay ever in my life"
When I arrived first it was something wrong with the room and they asked if I like to wait for two hours for another hotel guest how might not show up. I said I could wait an our because I was hungry, when I get back it was full bucked. They would rebook me to another hotel close but booked one far away. Order a taxi that I have to wait for 30 minutes and after that he drive to the hotel far outside with much lower standard and cheaper. The driver told me they always over book this hotel and he drive for them a couple of times every week.Joakim

Cons: The noise. i was in a so called executive room but hardly slept throughout my week there.

one music was way to coming from above. people were shouting, singing at the top of voices and this would start around 10.30pm till 3am. for someone on a business trip not very suitable.

then there was constant flow of rubbish collectors outside and with no double glazing all you could hear is glass bottles being smashed etc.

Cons: We booked 2 studio apartments each for 2 adults and asked for 1 child bed - the hotel details said maximum of 6 people in each room. before going i emailed the aprtment to see if in fact the 2 children's beds could go in 1 of the rooms, they said too samll and that they would move us into a 'family delux apartment'. when we got there there were no bedfs for the children - just childrens cots, they had to sleep on the floor in the end, and there bedroom was open at the top so sound travelled between there and the 'lounge' with sofa bed. for £278 this was terrible value and very unpleasent for the poor children. thankfully we had only booked for 1 night.
