Friendly rooand helpful service, adequate for a stay in London,near the British Museum and remote from the noise of the traffic,friendly and helpful staff,I could sleep at night without any disturbancies and was therefore fit for the challenges of London.

No elevator. Makes it hard for the elderly to reach topfloors.For those having trouble with navigation, it would be nice to have indications wich rooms are where to prevent unnecessary trips up the staircases.

We really appreciate this hotel.The only problem was that our room (number 2) was located immediately next to the entrance door on the ground floor, so we had troubled sleep :People in the street, the slamming door, people entering the hotel and talking in the corridor all night long.but the room was perfect, the location, service and breakfast were really good.We will come back and maybe just ask for another room.

Pros: Excellent 4-bed family room, up to date decoration, quiet location. we also very much enjoyed the breakfast which was partly buffet and partly served at the table.

Pros: The room was big and bright, the bathroom was small, but clean.
Cons: The breakfast choice advertising a full english breakfast. only eggs, bacon and sausage were advertised. you had to ask for other things like fried tomatoes. the tomatoes were heated peeled tomatoes. the croissants weren't fresh.

Pros: It was a pleasent stay very clean hotel, good breakfast and a good selection of food. situated in a good place of london, very near to russel square station and easy to arrive. hotal staff and restaurant staff very polite and gentle. it is surrounded by grocers, shop, bars and restaurants and a shopping mall.
Cons: The only thing we did not like much was that our room was located underneath the entrance/exit of the hotel and since the floor is made out of wood, when somebody goes in and out you can hear the ceiling squeeking.

Pros: The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. the location was great within walking distance to a lot of places and great access to train lines to main areas. this hotel is more suited to young travellers who prefer hostels.
Cons: The hotel was more like a hostel which was not what we expected. we booked a double room, which ended up having 2 single beds and one which in australian standards was more of a king single and to a couple, tiny, so we spent our holiday in single beds which was not ideal. the breakfast staff were loud and difficult. the free wifi only worked in reception and not in the room which was frustrating.

Cons: Senza ascensore e nessuno aiuta a portare i bagagli; manca una sala di soggiorno; non c'è una postazione internet. nella stanza non vengono forniti shampo e bagno schiuma, ma solo una piccola saponetta e un solo asciugamano a persona; non c'è l'asciugacapelli. tutte carenze piuttosto gravi, considerato il prezzo.

Cons: This is not a 3 star hotel, it's closer to a 2 star b & b. the climb to our fourth floor room was difficult and dangerous (with suitcases) due to the steep and narrow steps . the bed was old, stained and torn. the sheets were thin and thread bare. towels were thin and small and not of hotel quality. the owners and staff were not customer friendly, but driven more by adhering to policy that was convenient to them. if you arrived 8.55am for breakfast ( 5 minutes before they stop serving, they actually yelled at you and talked about you loudly in front of other customers. unwelcoming and unfriendly place to stay where the management and staff were constantly arguing. in fact this was our worst experience in 6 weeks of travelling across europe.
