From the moment I checked in every aspect of my stay was great, from pleasant staff who were attentive and well mannered. The room was well appointed, the bed comfortable. The only slight issue was I had to get down on my knees to plug in my laptop as the only powerpoints were under the desk.I would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting London.

"Located right next to the gloucester rd tube station (very easy to get to..."
Pros: Located right next to the gloucester rd tube station (very easy to get to from heathrow airprot). in a safe and clean area with lots of restaurants, conveniences and bars. hotel staff was very friendly. double room was a good size with equally nice bathroom, and lcd tv. great restaurant attached (olives) - food was excellent - for those days when you don't feel like searching for a place to eat.
Cons: Only negative was when we checked out, hotel staff did not offer or even inform us that we needed a vat form from them in order to claim our vat (value added tax) refund for the $500 in uk taxes we we paid for our stay. you can only claim it at the airport before leaving the country and they turned us away because we didn't know we needed to ask for that form. very frustrating, but that is literally the only negative about our entire stay.
