 "Double Tree Westminser"
Nice hotel - travel directions misleading - 10 - 15 minute walk from nearest tube station (not 5 minutes) - same as walk to Whitehall/Westminster. Not helped by significant roadworks affecting pedestrians as well as traffic. Room nice - if you like techie stuff has an Apple PC for the TV but no mobile signal in whole hotel!All in all high tech etc but location not ideal.

 "Ideal location for Thames/London & Parliament/Embankment areas"
from Euston you take the Victoria line south, get off at Plimlico. A short walk about 5-10minuts and your e there. Great spot, modern looking hotel and features. Welcomed with a warm smile and warm cookie...beaut. This is literally round the corner from Vauxhall bridge, leading to Lambeth palace and your facing the House of Parliament. We never took the tube again. We walked during this special weekend marking the end of the Olympics and Lndon was a buzz of excitement. Woudl most definitely stay here again. Rooms are simple and basic. They arranged 2 beds in the room as opposed to the one small double. Bathroom small but everything works and hot water is plentiful and shower powerful. Great breakfast, quality ingredients and lots of chioce. We got a great rate of 131p/day GBP. For london thats...brill.

 "An enjoyable experience"
Stayed for 2 nights at the Doubletree, which was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and polite, the rooms very not particularly large but were very clean. The choice at breakfast was more than sufficient and an excellent start to the day.The big question is would I return, the answer is definately yes.

 "Friendly, clean, good and worth to come back for"
Simply said, a very good hotel. Maybe not the cheapest of all but is was all worth it. The staff was SUPER friendly and took time for every question we had. We arrived very early (08:00) for our family trip due to our flight schedule. This wasn't a problem at all en two of our three rooms were already available, to put our stuff in.Very clean rooms, fully equipped and the beds were great.The only thing worth to mention that wasn't quite right was the fact that the sky-lounge mentioned on the hotels website wasn't available to use. It seems that is was only available for private use. For the rest of our stay just compliments including the breakfast.

You are never far from what the city has to offer; Victoria Station provides public transportation connections throughout London. If you book your stay in this accommodation, visit Parliament And Big Ben, or perhaps pay a visit to London Eye or Buckingham Palace. Westminster Abbey is well worth a visit during your stay in London.
