"Hotel location - in walking distance of almost all tourist attractions, and..."
Pros: Hotel location - in walking distance of almost all tourist attractions, and paddington station 2min walk away so you are really connected to all parts of london
Cons: Extremely small rooms, not all towels were changed every day, no breakfast selection (you can have full english breakfast or only toast, no other options such as cereals, cheese, fruit...)

"Good location only positive thing about this hotel"
Pros: Good location only positive thing about this hotel. the original price quoted for the room was approx. euro700 and it was reduced to €306 for bed and breakfast, it certainly is not worth the original price quoted at any time of the year.
Cons: I had booked a triple room and expected the room to have 3 single beds, the beds provided were one 5 foot double bed and one camp bed. also the bathroom facilities consisted of a tiny wash hand basin, a w.c. and a tiny shower unit and i have long hair and i ended up not washing my hair at all for the duration of my 3 night stay as one could not move ones arms in the shower to wash/massage hair. the bedroom we occupied overlooked a busy street and we got very little sleep with the noise of traffic going past all night.

Pros: The lady who did breakfasts was very efficient and polite considering she was the only one on duty.
Cons: The reception staff were ok (at the time we arrived he was in the middle of a tel call & we felt like we were in the way. also on your website you state that tea/coffee facilities were provided, there were none. when we asked the reception about this he stated that the internet sometimes put different things on to what are actually on offer. he then said he could give us a kettle!!!!!! the drinking glasses in our room were not changed on our 2nd day. the duvet cover had a few big holes in it.

"Normandie very close to paddington station and to restaurants & pubs"
Pros: Normandie very close to paddington station and to restaurants & pubs. staff in reception and in breakfast room were very helpful, and heated baby's milk bottle for us.
Cons: Web-site was inaccurate regarding tea making facilities. not provided at all. overcharged on room occupancy, booked 1 triple and 1 double room, but charged for 1 triple rooms. hotel blamed booking agent, finally received a refund after several hours telephone discussion between normandie and web-site agent.

"When the receptionist saw my mother had a wheelchair, they changed the 3rd..."
Pros: When the receptionist saw my mother had a wheelchair, they changed the 3rd floor room to the ground floor the next day.
Cons: My reservation note said my mother was frail and could not walk steps but this had been disregarded. the breakfast room was downstairs (about 15 narrow steep stairs!). most of the items advertised were not there. it was old and dreary and furniture broken. there were "pot" smokers next door but my complaint was disregarded. they were noisy at 3am in the morning and my complaint was disregarded.

"Reception staff were very attentive and helpful"
Pros: Reception staff were very attentive and helpful. we were disappointed that tea making facilities in the room were not provided, despite the information on the easytobook website.
Cons: I was overcharged by £51 for a triple room when i only booked a double room. i received a refund when i complained, only when i produced the confirmation email. i do not understand how normandie was provided with a different booking to myself.

"Easy access to paddington tube station"
Pros: Easy access to paddington tube station. helpful reception staff and dining room staff.
Cons: Travelling as a family of 7 in 3 rooms, we were over-charged in one room booking. normandie eventually gave us a refund, and we were told that the mistake was made by the booking agency, not normandie. no tea/coffee making facilities, but on web-site. we were told that the web-site was incorrect regarding these facilities.

"Very helpful front desk staff"
Pros: Very helpful front desk staff. very nice breakfast
Cons: Website indicates a few things that were not available, such as a coffee maker and hair dryer in the room. they need to update the website so people are not disappointed when they get there. lugging big suitcases up and down stairs was very strenuous. a lift would have been wonderful. the room was very small but we understand that you get what you pay for.
