Staff quite friendly. we had a family room which was o.k. had a t.v., coffee/tea making facilities and good shower.Breakfast was very poor; not enough choice and very cramped breakfast room. had to que to wait for a table.Inglis

It was a place to flop, after a rock concert. i was in the room next to the front door and the baggage room, but i didn't care about the noise. that room wouldn't suit everyone, though.Anonymous

many staires to the room - no lift.
bad breakfast, no selection. no room to sit fo breakfast! so poor we didn't take it for the next days even though we paid for it in advance.
our room had a plumming problem that wasn't fixed for 3 days!
the staff was nice but not really helpful - they couldn't leave their post in reception to help us.Anonymous

Great location, friendly staff.Very poor breakfast. the shower in the room - dbl on top floor - didn't have enough water pressure, so no hot water, except from when no one else was using hot water.POUTCH

For the price we paid for a central london hotel i dont see how any reasonable person could have any complaints really.Room was tiny but again, for the price paid i could easily overlook that.we were there to see london, not explore a hotel room.Anonymous

It was a clean hotel and central location.The room was very small and extremely hot so we had to sleep with the window open, which was very noisy. that with the very hard beds meant we hardly slept! the breakfast room was also small and everyone was squashed next to each other.Kaiwei

The rooms are very very well-packed everyday. although the hotel room was small, but it was really cosy.I guess it would be nice if there are places to hang your stuff in the bathroom.Mares

Staff were helpful though not very chatty. originally booked 2 twin rooms for 5 of us but staff was kind enough to change one to a family room when we dropped by a few days before we were due to change hotels. staff also helped to re-arrange our 2 rooms such that we were on the same floor and on basement (originally on a higher level which would have been a problem for luggage)Room quite small. no ac so when we were in lon during the hot spell over 2 days, room got quite hot and the small window in the basement room did not open up to any decent ventilation. no lifts so any luggage wil have to be dragged up or down steps. make sure to request for rooms on ground basement or level 1Enggrav

The entrance from the street was nice, and the staff also. it was clean and tidy, in a nice area of london. easy to find. tastefull breakfast.We are not young, so we missed a lift to the third floor. the diningroom was too small, so we had to wait ouside to eat breakfast. the room in the groundfloor (nr.1), which we were told to stay at first, was not nice. it smelled and was dark and the bathroom was not possiblle to use. but we got nr.20 instead, which was much better.
