How to reach the Opulence Hotel?By metro, from Heathrow Airport: If you rather save a few pounds you may take the Piccadilly Line to Earl's Court and once there interchange to the District Line towards Edgware Road and get off at “Notting Hill Gate” Station. Once here take the Red Central Line towards "Oxford Circus" and get off at "Marble Arch" station. The hotel is at walking distance from the station. If you prefer you can also take a short taxi ride away.

Very good location, very good breakfast, the hotel was clean.

The room was clean. and it faced the back of the building, not the noisy street. The reception area is basically a closet at the top of one flight of stairs. there is no lobby per se. we carried our bags up that flight and paid for our two nights in advance and were then given a key to room 2 which was "on the third floor" but this being europe it was the fourth floor. the staircases were uneven and narrow. when we got to the room we discovered that it was unbelievably small. you think you know what small is? try room 2 at the oppulence. the shower was tiny. very tiny. the bed however was comfortable. the tv reception was grainy and poor. the free breakfast was a sad affair with thin coffee and miserable eggs served by a very friendly and cheerful man. but we did all we could to not go back to our room during our brief stay in london and at 100 pounds per night we felt cheated. the pictures do not give an acurate portrait of what this hotel is like. The chef was terrific.breakfast fixed to order and very
good.he even came in early when we were leaving before
normal hours for a tour.Shower the size of a postage stamp.room was up 5 flights of stairs.Anonymous

The staff was very helpful Room was not cleaned one day, the room was a twin when asked for a double and was never changed. although staff was helpful, this became a fiasco stay!Anonymous
