 "London faded grandeur"
Attractive hotel in an excellent location. The bad bits..... very small room. No hot water for bath, tiny summer duvet for a chilly winter stay, flimsy pillows, two lights did not work in the room, tatty fixtures and fittings in room, heater not functioning fully, bar is really non existant (it involves asking a member of reception to dissapear into the kitchens if you require a drink!). The good bits.....quiet but central location all within walking distance of some excellent restaurants and pubs, clean rooms, friendly staff. I really hope the hotel sorts out the fixtures and fittings in the rooms. It is such a shame the small things seem to have been forgotten about as they are exactly what the customer looks for and expects! I would stay again but only because the location is fantastic and not because of the quality of the hotel.

 "Lovely hotel in fab location"
This is the second time I've stayed here. It's a small and friendly hotel but matches the service and standard of many of the big corporate hotels at a fraction of the price. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for getting around town and seeing the sites. By taking you off the main London streets it allows you to see a quaint side of London with cobbled streets and adorable cafes and restaurants.

Stayed at this hotel as the reviews seemed not too bad and the location was excellent. However, although we could get into our room early at check in which was very helpful and staff were pleasant, those were the most positive aspects.The room was small and quite shabby, one of the cups on the tray was cracked and the bottom sheet was torn. The shower controls were exceptionally tight to turn, but once done they did work. The breakfast was just about acceptable but nothing special. Juice was squash or watered down and the rest was help yourself in big containers.I think that the hote could do with a serious smarten up.

Pros: Lovely, quaint hotel in an escellent location.
Cons: Everything else was fine except the bathroom:
1. not hot enough water at 5.30 am when i wanted to take a hot bath
2. loo extremely difficult to get fully flushed
3. hot water tap of bath fell off
4. shower button difficult to use
5. staff a bit defensive with regards to complaints & were not empowered to offer any on the spot compensation

Intimate and luxurious Park Lane Mews Hotel London is tucked away just off world famous Park Lane. Just a minute's stroll away is the The Royal Academy of Arts and the internationally famous food emporium Fortnum & Mason, together with the exclusive shops of Burlington Arcade. Head west and you will find Hyde Park and the Serpentine Lake, plus the shopping area of Knightsbridge. Eastwards along Piccadilly is vibrant Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, the heart of London's theatreland. On top of that, the hotel is just 20 minutes away on the Jubilee underground to Canary Wharf.

On site is the Stanhope Restaurant, a small intimate 32 seat dinning area. Light refreshments and snacks are available from the Lounge Bar, as well as afternoon tea from 14.30 till 17.30. Other facilities include two meeting rooms for up to 60 people.

All rooms have individual climate control, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hairdryer, en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, remote control Digital TV and room service is 24 hours. There is 1 room for disabled guests and the hotel is completely wheelchair accessible.
