 "very nice"
Our room was bigger and cleaner then we expected. The bathroom was very nice and perfect cleaned. And the location was just perfect. The only thing I didn't like was that the rooms were a bit to warm for a really good sleep.

 "Great hotel, excellent staff"
The location of the hotel was idea for us. The staff were very friendly and the room was great and ready when we arrived. The kitchen facilities were very good and the room size large for a London hotel.

"Bad service by easy to book"
We arrived at park plaza county hall having booked with easybook only to find that they had no record of our booking. I showed them the paperwork and they had no explanation other than they were fully booked and didn't have a spare room. This was disgraceful. The hotel turned it around by booking us into their sister hotel on westminster bridge and then upgrading our room which was the least they could do. I was not impressed at all, once you reserve a room you expect the 2 parties to communicate. On my upcomming trip to barcelona I would never use easybook or any other time in the future. Thanks to the hotel for the upgrade and service once the issue got sorted but easybook should be easynotyetbooked!!!!

 "Annual Family London Trip"
We have an annual pilgrimage to London between Christmas and New Years Eve and have previously stayed at the Park Plaza across the road, this year we chose County Hall and can honestly say it was fab!Love the room configuration as it was perfect for us and our 8 year old son. the facilities are excellent if you're staying for a few nights, loved the nespresso machine as we have 1 at home. The location is excellent for travelling around London and is close to Waterloo for ease of getting in and out of London.Staff were very helpful and polite.Didn't try the breakfast as its always cheaper outside the hotel! Will definitely stay again.

"Bathroom - what's that all about!"
Hotel was good, staff very friendly and polite. Room clean but average. The bathroom on the other hand? Although clean, the shower screen was a few centimeters away from the bath edge and therefore all the water from the, impossible to get right, three types of shower head, shower went all over the floor - not very safe! The bath is also quite high sided so the bathmat is a must for climbing in an out.The TV cabinet doors don't stay open either so you have to prop them with something to watch anything!.Great for a few nights, but would try somewhere else next time.

 "Lift problem and air conditioning"
1 One elevator was out of use, and the other two were much too busy. We had to walk the stairs manye times. My wife has trouble walking stairs, and the waiting was irritating. Many, really many, guests were suprised of the waiting.2 The one "window" in our room was not possible to open, and we both caught a cold after returning home, probably due to the air conditioning. The air was not bad for breathing, but one didn't get the feeling of natural freshness.Else; very good.

 "booking and breakfast"
Easy to Book made it harder to book by 'loosing' my credit card details - they did however upgrade me to a studio bedroom.Breakfast on Saturday last was billed to close at 11am. However when I arrived for breakfast at 10-29 they said that we are just about to close and I was just in time - eh?! They mentioned something about the Olympics - news to me !!

 "Very nice hotel, except..."
Unique open design of elevator shaft means lots of noise from the elevators, audible from many rooms. Make sure to get a room far, far from the elevators.

 "Stay at this hotel"
There was an old advertising phrase,"Tough to find, hard to beat" which would apply to the park plaza. We found the hotel all it claims to be with smiling faces and attitudes at the front desk and concierge, to a well run efficient operation. We stayed for five days and felt welcome each day. Rooms were clean and fresh and the staff seemed confident in their work without becoming obtrusive. We certainly will return on our next visit.

"Great location - a few tweaks needed for a 4 star hotel."
I stayed with my daughter and 10 month old grandson in a small suite for 5 nights. We loved the location. However, a few tweaks would have made our stay more enjoyable:The sofa bed was really uncomfortableThe supply of dishes was inadequate - no small plates or saucersNo dish cloth or sponge suppliedBathroom sink drain didn’t closeThe shower flooded the entire bathroom floorLight in bathroom was inadequateShould supply a larger rubbish bin with lid for familiesThere was noise outside room from heels/wheels on ceramic tile by lift (we were directly facing the lift).Nightime room service (to make up sofabed) was noisy - the baby was usually asleepOur late night welcome on arrival was unimpressive.Otherwise all was well and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: Loved the space of the room and kitchnette so handy for microwaving my bread as i am a coeliac
Cons: The waitress even though it was her first morning of work, they should have provided her with a top that fitted it was far too small you could see her tummy etc but she was lovely in herself just needed a bigger blouse

"The hotel was brilliant, the staff where welcoming"
Pros: The hotel was brilliant, the staff where welcoming. the view we had was excellent. even though our room was not ready on time we were given complementary drinks in the bar which was nice.
Cons: The negative thing i experienced their would be that at 16.00 on the day of our arrival our room was not ready however, check in was from 14.00. this was slightly disappointing. also the small glass door/window on the shower is too small and does not block the water from spraying out of the shower causing puddles of water to build up al over the place when having a shower.

 "Nice breakfast"
Pros: Nice breakfast. great location and nice view from the 8th floor.
Cons: When we got back in the evening we asked if it was possible we could have some more milk for tea and coffee in our room. we were told that someone would pop up with the milk. nobody ever did. the total price was not what we paid. vat was not added to the total price. i have never stayed at a hotel were vat was not included. the small print informs that vat is not included in the total price. i was disgusted when i had to pay £230ish instead of my quoted £190. i don't know who is responsible, but vat needs to be added to the total bill, i feel conned!!
