Customer service from staff was excellent and they were very friendly and helpful. my room was very clean and comfortable and as described, comfortable bed and nice modern bathroom with good shower. had a good cooked breakfast in the morning. i was allowed to leave my luggage for a few hours before i checked in and after i checked out. my bags were taken to my room for me before i returned. the night staff helped me when i returned after midnight and had a problem with my keycard. overall the service i received was very good, the price of the room was reasonable, there were a couple of minor things that could be easily rectified and i would be happy to stay there again.
My room was on the top floor and it would be a bit of a struggle for anyone with cases, although my bags were taken up to my room for me. the bathroom had a bit of a musty smell in it, but this is something that maybe could be rectified with airing the room or putting an air freshener in there. coffee and tea were available in the room, but this could have been stocked up a bit more, however, the staff were happy to provide more when i asked. there was a minifridge in the room as well, with a can of lemonade and a packet of crisps in it, not sure if that was a minibar or a previous occupant had left them behind! the hotel location is good, easy to get to central london by bus and tube, but if someone is planning to stay there i would warn them not to expect the most glamourous area of london. i knew it well and i knew what to expect from the area, it isn't that bad but if someone didn't know the area they might get a bit of a shock. i wouldn't recommend it for people with children or maybe an elderly couple, but it is fine for young travellers or someone who wants a base to stay at while in london for a short break.

Excellent staff, good location for getting into the centre of london, comfortable rooms.
It's location is excellent for london centre, but the direct surroundings are probably not somewhere you would choose to spend much time.
