From this fabulous location you will be only a few meters away from Hyde Park and the Speakers Corner. Bayswater and Queensway have plenty of pubs and eateries and are within walking distance from the hotel.
Also from Lancaster Gate it is easy to catch any double decker bus going eastwards to access Marble Arch, Oxford Street and Oxford Circus, Piccadilly Circus and Tottenham Court Road.
How to reach the Piccolino Hotel?If you rather save a few pounds you may take the Piccadilly Line to Earl's Court and once there interchange to the District Line towards Edgware Road and get off at Paddington.

The room was a good size and it was clean. the hotel is in a good location. good price. 
Staff tried to enter our room without knocking. there was no one at reception when we wanted to check out. our room was situated on the basement floor near the staff facilities room and breakfast room so it was a little noisy in the morning. hair dryer was broken. Anonymous

The piccolino is ideally positioned for use of paddington station with an excellent selection of eateries on your door step. rooms are large and clean and decorated to a good standard. staff are always friendly and helpfull and there is room to leave your luggage on day of departure if you want to do a little last minute shopping or site seeing.Rooms have bare floor boards so if you're not on the top floor the noise from rooms above can be annoying, also no double glazing so if staying at the front of the property road noise can also be annoying.Anonymous

Being on the top floor was hard going,buy the staff to carry my case for me,the weather was very hot and the room fan didnt work.the bathroom was tiny if you where tall or overweight you wouldnt fit in as it was i could sit on the loo brush my teeth and and wash my feet in the shower at the same time.the staff where all very friendly.the beds where comfyThe stairsDanastas

I was in two different rooms, the water doesn't sink good in both rooms, in one of them the toilet is broken. no shelves in the suit closet or broken. one day the breakfast was out of eggs because they forgot to buy!!! (according to staff)Anonymous

The hotel offered a friendly atmosphere and was accessable 24/7. the hotel was clean and offered a range of suitable services for the price. was in a perfect location for young groups wanting to see the sites and night life that london have to offer.Anonymous

Front desk staff was very friendly / helpful.Towels were mildewy and reeked of cigarette smoke. bath mat was so worn it was a rag, with a big hole in the center and the rest in threads breakfast staff were smoking as they were putting together the items for breakfast. the rolls were stale, other items unappealing. a great location and a place with a lot of potential, but currently not worth the price of the room. Staff is excellent. they tried to fulfill whatever we ask . breakfast were good.The room given was meant for 2 person instead of 3 but somehow rather they managed to swap us to a bigger room on the following day. it's nice if the breakfast menu change everday.Anonymous

Fantastic location in relation to paddington mainline station - just a 5 minute walk and in a quiet area. staff very friendly and polite. rooms very clean and well equipped. breakfast was more than ample in a self-service style. Not really - i suppose some people might be slightly irritated by the poor tv reception.Anonymous
