"Nicely refurbished hotel close to central attractions"
Nicely refurbished hotel, close to some major attractions. Concierge was very kind and helpful with all travel information. Tube station only 5 minutes walk, close to major museums. Rooms are a little small.

 "Good place to stay"
Good ratio price/ Quality. Old building but inside is totally renewed. Great Service Quality. Rooms are quite small (as often in London) and noise isolation from room to room could be better. Very recommandable.

"room newly refurbished but very small"
Good location next the museums, room very small but newly refurbished and decorated in a contemporary style, great bathroom with huge shower cubicle but no heated towel rail ( wet towels in the morning) The mattresses need replacing when you have the feeling of sleeping in a hammock. I am always surprised when I stay in a hotel of that category with no minibar in the room, not even complimentary water.

"Staff after extended discussion prepared to lower rate from easytobook rate..."
Pros: Staff after extended discussion prepared to lower rate from easytobook rate to their own website rate on internet which was 50 pounds lower. location of hotel great.
Cons: 1. first night at 1 am someone entered our room with a pass card. the manager said that a new guest had been given the same room in error.
2. too much noise transmission from room to room and through door from hallway.
3. hotel booked parties in basement party room thursday and friday nites of our stay. music volume increased through the evening to 1:30 am end. difficult to sleep with noise.
4. internet wifi charge too expensive.
5. rooms on the small side for $200 a night.

"Location, good breakfast, small but modern room"
Pros: Location, good breakfast, small but modern room
Cons: Staff would not take off the charge for not arriving the first night since we did not call within 24 hours. we were stranded in warsaw because of the plane crash on nov 2 that landed safely without landing gear, but stopped in the middle, blocking both runways, and the airport closed and all flights were cancelled. we called the hotel immediately after arriving at the airport and finding our flight cancelled. the person we talked to said no problem and no charge since we called as soon as we could. after arriving the front desk staff and at check-out would not remove the charge.

"Reception staff and concierge were extremely helpful"
Pros: Reception staff and concierge were extremely helpful. there was always someone there to greet you when you went in or wish you a good day when you left. nothing was too much trouble. i asked for extra pillows as i was going out to eat and by the time i came back they were in the room.
Cons: I was on the 5th floor and granted this was an old building but there was a lot of floorboard creaking noise and voices from the people above us, both early morning and late again about 11pm.

"I had to wait an hour past the usual check-in time - very very busy hotel..."
Pros: I had to wait an hour past the usual check-in time - very very busy hotel on the day i arrived - second stay - and would like to comment that maryam (miriam) on reception was absolutely brilliant and completely calm - certainly an asset to your business. she tried her very best to get me my room as i was tired from my flight and always kept me smiling.
Cons: Yes - too slow to get my room - maybe more cleaning staff are needed - this would alleviate the embarrassment for the brilliant receptionist that i encountered. they really do try to do their best but with slow cleaning staff what can they do? not a good initial impression.
