 "Do not keep what they promise"
Booked a club room so I can have a spacious room, in fact on arrival was given a very small room not fit to be called a double room. Changed it the following day for a triple room which was fair size for a double room. Was promised fruit in room to be refreshed daily. Got that on arrival, but had to ask for it everyday or I would not get it. The turn up service does not exist, I don`t know why it is mentioned on their brochure. Breakfast is far from an Anerican breakfast, though it was fairly good. Room furnishing is excellent. Staff are friendly and the evening receptionist was very good.

 "Great Hotel"
My wife and I started our honeymoon here and it was an excellent hotel. A little pricey, but in a nice past of town and close to two different tube stations. There's also a nice grocery store just down the street and Hyde Park is right around the corner. The rooms were very nice, very clean, and the beds were really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

 "Great Hotel, Great Location, Poor Sleep"
We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and found the room be generally quite good. However, the mattress needed changing as it was sagging in the middle and our room was not even remotely sound insulated from noise coming in from the corridor or adjoining stair well, thus we were awoken anytime someone would either talk in the corridor, open/close a nearby door or take the stairwell.Location was excellent, as Bayswater train station was within a 30 second walk of the front door.Otherwise this was a very decent hotel, with excellent service, although somewhat pricey.If you do book here, try for a room on one of the upper floors, as noise may not be such a big issue above ground level.

 "Great location, clean, and modern."
We got two rooms from and some reviews showed that they have a problem with overbooking. They did have an issue with me having reserved two rooms as they only showed one....It did not seem malicious as other reviews state...just a little confusion on their part (they are eastern European and English is their second language) but was remedied quickly and got us the other room quickly. Rooms were VERY clean and comfortable....although very small. All the rooms had high quality materials in them and looked to have been newly renovated with comfy beds. I would not recommend to very large people ( I was fine at 6'1" and 220lbs) or disabled. Location is SUPER CLOSE to the tube station....but still very quiet.

 "simple, nice and fresh"
I stayed at Shaftsbury Hyde Park International on a short solo trip to London. The hotel provided me with exactly what I needed: a nice bed in a clean room with a fresh bathroom and good shower. My single room was tiny, but very nice.

Pros: when i arrived at hotel, in batersea, the receptionist informed me that i had to move somewhere else, due to some safety problems. the manager was very quick to reassure me that a taxi is waiting to take me to new location, picadilly, with an upgrade.i must say that mandar, the manger dealt with the matter in a highly amazing professionalism. in the new hotel, they were just adorable, giving me a fourpostar bed! despite me being late to my appointment, i must only say that with such care, one should be rather chuffed!

 "The main positive thing is definitely both the location and the..."
Pros: The main positive thing is definitely both the location and the minimalistic intention in the rooms. we felt like being in a secure environment at inverness terrace and also the hotel is so close to the queensway tube station, which we were using every day. we do think that the rooms are very fine - we rented a double twin, i believe it was called.
Cons: On the negative side, we do think that the hotel has very “thin walls” whereas all sounds were to go through. we recommend that you do not rent room 006, right next to the fitness room; otherwise you wake up every morning with a shaking bed, cause of someone on the treadmill. the hotel staff did say that the fitness room opened at 9.00 a.m. but we woke up twice at 7.30 and had to get the staff to kick out the users. another recommendation is to rent rooms on 1 st. floor and up, otherwise you also are going to hear the tube below you.

 "We stayed at this hotel for a week and highly recommend it"
Pros: We stayed at this hotel for a week and highly recommend it.
as in european standards, the rooms are small, but they are well designed - and pleasant. we asked to change rooms and were moved in no time and with no fuss.
the room was welcoming, and had good facilities - tv, air-condition, free internet connection (cable and wi-fi), iron, hair-blower, microwave, convenient shower (with shampoo and all), coffee table.
the location was great - the hotel is located next to kensington gardens (a 2-3 minutes walk) and to 2 tube stations (3 lines), plus it's near restaurants, supermarkets, pubs and stores (inc a mall). yet, it was quiet. the hotel staff was friendly & helpful, and regarded all our requests immediately - and with a smile (esp. the hotel manager, mr mandar, who was very helpful and efficient). the price was reasonable; note that there are different sizes of rooms (we stayed in a "club" double room.
Cons: There are 2 things we felt could have made our stay perfect: 1 - removing the blocks off the windows' edges, so that they could be opened for more than 10 cm; 2 - having a mini-refrigerator (there's special room for it but for some reason it was missing)
